ALDI — Local services in Richmond

I have not had bad experiences at this store until today, but I am not interested in shopping here further until COVID passes. There was a woman actively hacking, coughing into the air (not covering her mouth), and not wearing a mask. She was coughing aggressively every 3 to 5 seconds. I need to point out, I used to be a chain smoker and had bronchitis at one point. This was the worst cough I have ever heard in my life.

It made every single person in the store uncomfortable. Everyone's eyes were wide. One older man not wearing a mask pulled one out of his pocket.

I was on one side of the store (by the frozen goods if you know the layout) and she was at the entrance, and I heard her coughing from the entrance. Not a single manager said anything. It should not be on customers to enforce a distance or mask policy. The employees and customers looked VISIBLY concerned and bothered by this person's presence in the store.

The only reason I'm leaving a review is so that hopefully management knows that they should enforce a mask policy for anyone without medical exemptions, and to not do so...

I come here every week and always get great customer service. Everyone’s typically friendly and kind but the guy checking me out side with a septum piercing was extremely rude. He started loading the next customer’s groceries in the cart that he put my things in.. I was confused and said “I believe these are her things” and he said in a passive tone “is this your cart?” And I said “I mean yes you loaded this cart with all my things.” He then proceeded to roll his eyes and said okay you can leave the cart wherever when you’re done bagging. When I was done, I started walking out with the cart to put it with the other carts and he yelled and said “no, leave it here.” I then walked the cart back and left it and said “have a great day” and he said “mhm”. Just a very bizarre interaction with a condescending individual. You shouldn’t work in customer service if you have an attitude problem. I get people have bad days but I work in customer service and the key is the be kind to customers even if there’s apparently some...

Best Place ever! is an understatement. They have a great selection of bread for as little as 1.2 dollars. I love there pita bread and tomato or herb tortilla. they have great produce, meat, frozen food, coffee, and diary selection. they have new items coming in every Wednesday with new offers like electronics, kitchenware, household items, and even clothes. I am a biweekly customer here and have been since 2017. I just love this place since I am a student and I can get there by bus and the fact it is more affordable than other chains. always clean and tidy, the staff is really helpful and polite. grab a cart for free,just insert a coin in at first and get it back when you return it outside of the place. I always bring my reusable bag with me and save time on loading and unloading onto cart. This place is all about efficiency and they are doing a great job. Oh! you might be handed coupons sometime when checking out, which is also great keeping in mind that this place is already affordable. love it....
