I contacted the Oxford location of Armstrong Cleaners & Formalwear and spoke to Sue. She answered the phone in a very pleasant tone of voice, identified herself and asked me how she might be of assistance. I told her that I was needing a new laundry wash and fold service and had visited the Armstrong Cleaners & Formalwear website. I asked if she could verfy for me what I had read about the wash, fold and delivery service. She was more than happy to and explained everything in detail. I asked how I went about signing up for the service and she directed me back to the company website and explained to me how to sign up online. I thanked her and said good-bye. I went back to the website and in a matter of only a few minutes I had created my account, logged in and set up the date and time for my first pick up. The cost for the wash and fold service is also available online and I found the prices to be very reasonable. I signed out and then called the Armstrong Cleaners & Formalwear Oxford location to check to make sure I had set up the account and my first pick up appointment correctly. I spoke to Tim and he said that I had done everything correctly. He asked me if I knew how the pick up appointment and the delivery service worked. I asked him to explain it to me and he did. He was very patient with me and by the time we hung up I was confident that I had made the correct choice for my wash and fold laundry service. I was even more at ease when the pick up/delivery person named Kevin arrived at my door to pick up my dirty laundry. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained how the pick up and delivery service worked. After hearing Kevin explain how things worked I felt assured that I would see my laundry again! A few days later Kevin returned on the pre-arranged date and time with my laundry clean, folded, wrapped in plastic and in Armstrong Cleaners soft sided reuseable laundry bags. Everything was in perfect condition and I couldn't be more pleased than I am right now with the service I received. I will definitely use Armstrong Cleaners & Formalwear again. If I could give them a negative rating I would. Brought my father in law, who flew in from another country, and husband’s suits to be pressed, a week before our wedding. Somehow the day they were supposed to be ready they lost a pair of the pants. Said they would have them that afternoon. Went back and they tried to give me a bright blue pair of pants. The owner was unreachable by staff. Came back the next morning 2 days before our wedding to get the pants. Somehow they were still missing. After waiting over 30 minutes the staff were finally able to speak to the owner said he would give us $20 off another service. I still didn’t have the missing pants. Took my wedding dress here to get it cleaned on a Saturday. I was told it would be ready on Thursday so I could have it for my rehearsal dinner on Friday. Nothing on Thursday. Wait until 4PM on Friday to make sure it would be ready, go in, and they say they don’t have it. Wherever they sent it off to still had it.
