RVATukTuk — Local services in Richmond

WOW! I recently chose RVA Tuk Tuk for a work event as a fun and different alternative to our usual outings. There was some initial hesitation from my team since it was a bit outside the norm—but by the end, all 25 of us had an amazing time!

I rode with three other associates and we had Annie as our driver. She made the experience truly exceptional—sharing not only local history but also personal stories and insights, even pointing out her own home along the route.

We took part in a roughly 1.5-hour historical tour, but it felt like we got five hours' worth of fascinating information. Annie stopped at several points of interest so we could take pictures and explore briefly, which really enhanced the experience.

She was incredibly knowledgeable, and I walked away with a much deeper appreciation for Richmond—both its history and current-day culture. I highly recommend RVA Tuk Tuk and will definitely be back to...

If I could leave zero stars then I would. We booked a tacky light tour online on October 26th for tonight. . We received the waiver to sign and reminder emails and texts leading up to today. The cost was $300. I was literally packing up blankets and pulling out the thermos and snacks, when I received a text today at 11 am that there was a "glitch" in their system and they need to cancel our tour or move it to AFTER Christmas. When I called back they then told me they had one of the tuktuks in the shop and may be able to get it ready but couldn't promise anything. At 3:10 I was texted to say oh bad news, then just a "sorry". This is absolutely no way to do business. RVATukTuk is a 3 wheel electric open air- limo tour company. A friend came to visit for 2 days, so time was limited, and the tuktuk tour was ideal for us. Our tour guide was Ann, She's a 5th grade teacher, so she knew her stuff. Our tour was one and a 1/2 hours to see historical places around downtown Richmond. She took us to some really great sites, and she also pointed out some great places to eat. Since I'm new to Richmond, I'll be taking my guest on this tour from now on. thanks, Ann.
