Wasn't too busy on a Sunday afternoon, they have a little parking lot. They have some patio chairs right out front, a bar and some seating inside and then a patio outside. The patio is covered and has 2 heaters. We walked into the bar and the bartender directed us outside where our server came out and got us waters. She helped us turn the heaters on and got us settled as we waited for the rest of our family to arrive. For apps, we ordered the Fried Oysters and the chicken tenders with BBQ sauce. The chicken tenders came with fries as well. The oysters were good, nice and crispy. The tenders were also delicious, especially with the BBQ sauce. The fries, while they looked crispy, were just a tad soggy for my taste. For our entrees, I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich and my husband ordered the cubano. Our family ordered salads with salmon. Everything looked delicious and was fairly quick to come out. My sandwich came with ranch and it definitely helped tone down the saltiness of the Fried chicken. Just eating the chicken alone was too salty and I had asked for my fries extra crispy which were amazing. The cubano sandwich was good and well made and the side of Brussels my husband got were also crispy. The salads and the salmon looked good, definitely cooked well. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. The person who helped bring out our drinks also ended up bringing out some bacon for our dog and was so kind. The patio is dog friendly but I would recommend brining a towel or mat for your pup to lay on. Overall, great service and good food!

Stayed near Richmond on the way to Charleston and found this place with a random Maps search. Cool little dive with food that punches above their weight. Wings with house rub were seasoned with a creative blend of spices (even a hint of cinnamon. ) I was surprised to find pork schnitzel ($21) among the regular entrées, because hey... who EVER has schnitzel on the menu? It was perfectly breaded and fried, tender and moist with a light crunch. They were a LITTLE stingy with the mustard sauce (which rocked) but I devoured this before I had the chance to ask for extra. Homemade mashed, and al dente fresh asparagus were included as sides. Shared a nice Basque cheesecake dessert with the wife. Dirt cheap for the quality and portions. Service was friendly and efficient, and the front porch was perfect given the favorable weather. If you're in the area, it's doubtful you'll find better, especially in so casual a setting for those prices.

This place has the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. I have had it dine-in and take out, it travels exceptionally well and stays crispy without the bun getting soggy on the trip home. I’ve also had the filet, Cobb salad and black bean and corn cake. I think the filet is only $30 plus or minus a cpl bucks, awesome price and absolutely delicious, that’s only a few dollars more than it costs me to cook it myself. Dinner there is my preference but I don’t hesitate getting entrees togo, they do a killer job making sure your dinner is boxed up in a way that it doesn’t disappoint when it’s eaten later. Everything I have eaten from this restaurant has not disappointed and I’m a bit picky. The waitstaff and bar staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the food. My partner has a food allergy and the waitress was very helpful and guided us so she didn’t have any issues. If I could give them more stars I would.

In from out of town to visit with friends. Walking in it had a dive bar vibe and chill patio and we were greeted warmly. The menu was smaller and had options for everyone. I got the fried chicken entree with mac and cheese and tater tots because they were out of mashed potatoes. It was the crispiest, juiciest, most tender fried chicken thighs I've ever had. The Mac and cheese was flavorful and creamy (the pasta was a little over cooked), and the tater tots crispy and warm. My girlfriend got the beyond burger (they offered to make it vegan) and crispy brussel sprouts, she loved it. The beer selection was good as well. I will definitely be back and recommend you go too. It was a meal worthy of an upscale restaurant in a relaxed, chill environment.

What a sweet surprise this place was! We're so tired of chain restaurants so we found this hidden gem. Food is really good and the buffalo wings taste as good as the ones from The Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY!! Hubby had a burger that they even agreed to cook it rare and his fries were the handcut shoestring fries. I had the Cobb Salad, which was a decent size and each item in it was superfresh and delicious, even the bacon. It's a very small place with a "dive bar" feel but it's great! Lots of locals conversing back and forth at the bar. The only drawback, the bathroom is located outside as the place is that small. We will DEFINITELY return sometime soon and highly recommend!

Went on Saturday to get lunch around 12.30 pm they were not busy at the time we entered. There were 2 tables but it was a bigger group like at least 4 people. When we ordered there was another big group coming. We waited around 15 - 20 minutes for a simple sandwich, didn't know why it took so long. Sandwich were delicious. The hash potato was crispy on the outside and also had good taste. My husband got the panini spicy pork and it was great especially the chimmichurri sauce that came with it. The seat was a little uncomfortable to sit because the table leg was in the way so we had to sit in the middle and both our legs kicked each other all the time.
