Clearly this is a very successful business, because the owner was not at all committed to making a sale.

As per the website instructions, I contacted the owner about having an item shipped to Canada. She indicated that she would explore the options and get back to me. She then proceeded to ghost me.

I followed up with her over a week later and was advised that she had been off for several days, but that the item could be shipped. She gave me a price.

I followed up with her to see how she would like to proceed, and again received no response. After yet had another email, she replied saying that her email hadn’t been working. But, she promised to generate an invoice and get the item shipped.

Once again, I waited. I contacted her yet again, and now she is telling me that she has too many responsibilities and she can’t get the item shipped to me.

If the owner had just been frank and indicated that she wasn’t up to the task, I would have understood. Perhaps she needs...

Farm house flower Friday is my favorite day to visit Hallstrom Home. I didn’t think I was a flower’s kind of girl but I cannot get enough of the farm house flowers. They bring a smile to my face when I walk in the door and they are sitting on my table or counter - just the perfect splash of color to add to this sad beige house. Back to the store… It’s so inviting and cozy in Rhonda’s store! I love to see Julie’s beautiful smiling face and her welcome when I walk in the door. Usually I come in for flowers and end up leaving with something else to add to my Hallstrom Home obsession collection. Also, try the Squashies - they are the freshest I have EVER had, no joke! And if you ever have any questions or need help putting something together just ask away - Rhonda’s passion for her product...

I stopped in to browse and be inspired by beautiful design and Hallstrom Home did not disappoint. I even left with a white "bubble" planter that was perfect for a plant that had outgrown it's original home. There were beautiful items at all price points and plenty of "giftable" goods for any occasion.

I'm shocked by the negative reviews....yes there are pricier items but this isn't Target or Home Goods...this a mom and pop store that the owner has obviously poured their heart into and taken a big risk. We all know "you can't please everyone" I just miss the days when haters kept their mouths shut and just...
