MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Ridgefield

Went there yesterday got a chicken cauliflower crust pizza with a couple toppings. Recieved my pizza. It looked so yummy!! When I started to eat my pizza I realized it was cold I thought maybe I just got into a suction that didn't get cooked all the way. No, my pizza in the middle was cold the cheese was not even melted. I don't like to complain 😕 however who wants to eat a cold pizza. I took a mod worker aside said hey, can I get a fresh one? I explained why, they started apologizing that the crust was probably frozen. Then as im reordering my pizza they apologized again restating the same thing. not even listening as to why I wanted a new one. I waited while everyone else was served even though I came before them all. Second pizza was good! my friend had took a another coworker and restated how it made me feel and that customer service is about listening to the customer and not making up excuses when i explained why I wanted a new one to begin with. The lady came up to me apologized I had her touch the pizza so she can see and feel what I recieved. She again apologized and handed me a free pizza coupon. I ordered from here via UberEats tonight (9/4, around 6:30 pm) and an item was missing. Of course, UberEats was absolutely no help at all, but I live right down the road from here and decided to go in and see if I could get a replacement. The people working tonight were AMAZING! They remembered my order and knew the driver left an item on the counter but were unable to get his attention before he bolted out the door. Not only did they make me a fresh and hot cauliflower crust to go with my pizza-salad, but they gave me a drink to sip on while I waited AND some No Name Cakes for the inconvenience, and were SO KIND! These guys were BUSY, making several other orders when I walked in but jumped in to action when I told them what happened. This review has nothing to do with friendliness of staff or the service necessarily ... it's all about quality and wait time.

I don't leave one star reviews often as I don't believe service, quality or factors are so bad that you can't leave a 2 or a 3 but, in this case, we just won't be going back for a long while.

Twice in a row now we timed the arrival for when it was to be ready and twice we've waited OVER an hour. We live only a few minutes away and the pizza, both times, was almost cold. The wait time three pizzas ago was about 45 minutes but at least they gave us noname cakes and sodas for the inconvenience (a nice surprise).

We generally love MOD and cant' wait for our MOD movie nights but sadly we are just going to have to go elsewhere for a while. This location has great people but it's SO busy now that the quality just isn't there and the wait is so frustrating. Not sure what the answer is but for us it's...
