This is a horrendous apartment with an overall score of less than half. I would give a rating of 0 if I could. I have lived here for almost two years and it makes me feel that I’ve wasted my hard earned money. 1) I have read the comments of previous residents carefully. They mentioned that there was almost no place to park past 10pm. It is still the same. Hasn’t change. 2) It is ridiculous that they will let you decide whether to continue living two months in advance whenever you are nearing the lease term. If you postpone it will charge you more than $ 2500 per month. I am in another apartment now. They give you a notice one month in advance. 3) They will raise your rent every time you renew your contract. When we asked the staff, they replied that the increase in rent will be adjusted according to the number of households per month. I think it is probably that fewer and fewer people choose this place due to increasing rent. We just checked in at $1150 when we moved out. The rent of old residents is higher than the rent of new residents. I don't know if I find this problem is only myself. 4) They changed the contract without notice and didn't notify us. When we first moved in, the contract was signed by us and we told them we had pets. We were told that we did not pay for pets when we paid the rent. When we asked to see the lease, the lease was not the same, and even the signature was not us, but the computer print. 5) They charge a deposit of $300 pet fees and a total of $25 per month exceeds $800. When we moved out they also charged an additional pet destruction fee. 6) They replaced all the apartments with wooden floors. When we asked to change to a wooden floor room, they asked us to pay an extra fee. But when we moved out, they actually charged us for the loss of their carpets. The funny thing is that they said we should pay $2000. After the discount is $60. Why they don't say $20000. 7) I didn't stay a full month by the time the lease ended. Paid the full amount owed online and was told I would receive a check in the mail for the money owed to me that month. They took the damage charge out of that amount. Feels like they can do whatever they want with no restrain. We don’t care much about money but the experience here is very poor if we knew we would rather pay a little more to go to the...
Read moreWe are residents, we have to renew and the cost increases every time you renew. The worst thing is that the apartments still have no improvements or changes. The new administrator a blonde white lady speaks to the residents as if they were not important. I have been a resident that all payments have been made on the correct date, even the check is delivered days before the payment date. The price for new residents is very low. I can say that they would pay 60 to 100 dollars less than me for the same apartment. whereas if I want to renew it, I will pay more. The security gates are almost always damage (open). People are not residents or who live here without being registered, they only push the forced gate and access it until they damage it constantly is informed and nothing happens they continue doing the same. You arrive at night and forget about getting a parking lot near your apartment. It's supposed to be 2 vehicles per apt. (They should make a stamp to the residents and paste it on the glass of the car registered in each apartment and vehicle that does not have it and occupy parking to call the police and report it.This way, this problem is solved). The employees if they are going to fix something come in with dirty boots, then one has to buy chemicals to clean the carpet. The machines of the Gym have their defects and another does not work. I have seen residents of Gables (another apartment complex) on Sundays crossing with laundry baskets to use the washing and drying machines here. The school bus that used to come in to pick up young children can no longer do so. The administration exposes the safety of children. The administrator is not nice. The worst part is that you can NOT talk to someone else who supervises her, like the owners of the property. Totally disappointed with the increase in income and everything...
Read moreDO NOT MOVE HERE !!! If you have the slightest clue what it's like to be handled by a Property Manager and Office Staff who knows how to treat residents, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE you want to call home. My apartment flooded twice from the ridiculous AC unit in my apartment and these idiots never once apologized or even offered to clean the carpet in my unit. The refrigerator completely stopped working and it took maintenance a week to repair it, needless to say, everything in the refrigerator spoiled. The entire complex is shifting from the foundation and causing issues in the units and the staff knows this and refuses to even compensate anything on your rent and they are not disclosing this at the time that you move in. My cabinets completely shifted to the point where I couldn't even store things in it without them falling out. On my move in day, my apt was not at all ready to move in, the walls were disgusting, the paint job was an epic fail, none of the nobs to my faucets were installed. Should have been a red flag but I tried to be nice about it. My fault. After all, they've gone up on rent and no renovations have been done. You're simply paying for the area that you live in, these apartments are deplorable as most of the apartments in the Jackson/Ridgeland area are. The Property Mgr Veronica has no customer service skills and should not be working with humans. The Assist Mgr is always lost and seems to just be there with no direction which is irritating, but at least she's pleasant. ALL in ALL, the property is a NO GO. Zero Stars. REAL TALK. Don't make the mistake I did, especially if you're a...
