El Sabor Latin Cuisine — Restaurant in Ridgeland

The food is actually really good, but their customer service could use some improvement and I'm BIG on how you treat people as I'm also in the serving industry. The lighting isn't that very good in there and it's a little on the expensive side, why I don't know, may be the inflación these days but all in all it's actually good food but better customer service would have gotten them a 4 star from me. 5 if the price wasn't $60+ for 2 people every time we go for only 2 plates, 1 water y 1 agua fresca. That just seems ridiculous to me. I was craving whole fried fish, so my mind was set. I got the whole fried fish, came fresh out of the fryer. Accompanied with refried beans, rice, and fresh corn tortillas. As a starter I got the weekend special which was the menudo. I always get extra onions, cilantro, and lime in mine. He got the asada torta. The place is spacious, they even have a few pool tables on the side. The staff was friendly, and food came out fairly quick.

Unfortunately the meat quality is very low. I ordered a caldo de res and I was served meat that looked inedible. I’m not sure where they buy the beef or chicken but it strikes me as the cheapest possible quality you can get. I was really hoping they’d be a reliable source of Central American food around this town, but I was disappointed.
