We sat down for a couple hours and painted together... My wife and I... It was very relaxing and we loved it. Our piece came out fantastic... it's great for kids and adults... As a matter of fact we've been meaning to bring our six-year-old daughter there with us next time... they go through the crash course with you once you sit down with your unpainted pottery just to show you what what and they're very attentive should you need anything else like more paint or other brushes Etc... Staff was very friendly when we were there and very helpful... Prices are not bad considering this is a storefront in Ridgewood New Jersey... I'd say it's comparable to other stores doing the same concept ... I think we ended up getting our piece back within two weeks... Once you're done painting it you just make sure that your name is on it or with it I'm not sure how they did that exactly I can't remember... But you just leave it where it was on the table and they handle it from there and send it off to get glazed... Once it's done they give you a call to come pick it up and it's already paid for... You just stop in and grab it and bring it home to enjoy. I know they've been there for years prior to us checking it out but it's something we should do more of. Came here with my niece to have a special day with and she loved it! She’s very artsy and loves painting so I figured this was a perfect idea. I definitely recommend reserving a table because it does get busy and during our visit when we where at the table a lot of walk-ins came in to paint but unfortunately it was booked up and busy so they couldn’t but seeing that I knew if I come back I will definitely reserve my table. The cost was $60 for me and my niece they go by the pricing of the ceramic items you pick out plus taxes, $7 per painter. It was a nice time I got a flower plate and my niece got a heart shape place and we stayed from 1:30-3:30. The experience was supposed to be fun, ended up being nothing but stress. We spent $400 dollars on items and they basically ran us out the building; they charge you extra for a time slot that is not nearly enough time to paint the items they give you. When we asked to stay a little longer even if we paid they said no we had to leave cuss they booked a party after. So we tried to hurry up and sloppily finish very expensive pieces to still not finish. We then had to take them home and they tried selling us more stuff to finish defeating the whole purpose of the appointment. We then were told they'd be finished firing in two weeks upon return.
