Very disrespectful and conflicting information. When asking questions, as we were confused on how we did all the steps they told us to do and then said they couldn’t help us, the worker responded we were “interrogating him” and need to “calm down.” We just needed answers. He wouldn’t even let us talk, just started talking over us, we had to say “wow, wow, wow we’re just trying to gain some clarity here.” As the conversation continued, he contradicted himself. We still don’t have any answers. Perhaps not all the staff are this way, but whoever this worker was, was EXTREMELY disrespectful and I have never been spoken to this way. Sounds like he felt called out for not having the answers or being wrong/misspeaking and decided to use deflection by attacking the caller rather than taking accountability and apologizing. Honestly, I don’t even want to be part of Verizon anymore and it’s been 10 years. People there are constantly contradicting themselves, misinformed, and lacking basic level communication. This was just the icing on the cake. I don’t need this when there’s 100 other providers out there. We’re all just trying to survive, we don’t need to be attacked for asking questions it’s your job to answer. Read moreI went in to the Rindge Verizon store (Russell Cellular) to shop for my first smart phone (I know, hard to believe anyone has waited this long!) and was greeted by a very knowledgeable and personable tech/sales person named Jacob. After exploring the options and later researching on the internet at Verizon.com, I was able to get a great deal on-line. Jacob had promised me he could help this older customer (me) with setting up his first smart phone (iPhone 12 mini) even if I bought it elsewhere!!! Really?
Well, I have to tell you Jacob's tutelage and patience went above and beyond despite only getting a sale on a cable and charger. I wholeheartedly recommend this store and Jacob in particular for outstanding service and professionalism. I was helped by Jacob and he knew exactly what to look for first and corrected the problem I was having very quickly! He answered all my questions as well. Jacob was so welcoming and made me feel like my small problems were important. A few weeks ago I stopped in and spoke with Chris. I was trying to be prepared for the news that I would have no choice but to upgrade my phone. After Chris assessed the situation, I was pleasantly surprised when he told me, my phone was fine, no need to spend money upgrading and he fixed the problem. I can't say enough about these guys. They are enthusiastic and take pride in what they do. Taking the time to do the right thing - putting the customer first.
