Leroy Meats of Ripon — Local services in Ripon

This may seem like a harsh review being as they do serve a good product, but this is based on the lack of customer service that I received while in their establishment. I went in to get some pork chops and when I expressed what I needed I was told that they didn't have it and would have to wait for it to come from a different place. To be clear, I wanted thin butterflied tenderized pork chops which is something that should be very easy to come by in a butcher shop since there were pork chops. In the case. The guy on the back simply did not feel like doing a good job and providing me with the product that I came in there for. If I wanted cookie cutter meat, I would go to Walmart or Hy-Vee. I went to a butcher shop because I expected to be able to get the cut of meat made the way I wanted. I was super excited when I found out they were coming to town, but I am now super disappointed to see the level of service they offer at this location. UPDATE, I went into the grocery store and the people working in there were 100% capable and willing to give me what I needed. I really expected the morning to go a different direction where the butcher shop did butcher shop stuff and the grocery store...

Leroy Meats does a great job of serving fresh, quality cuts of meats as well as offering a variety of cuts and other food items. The Bacon Wrapped Beef Tenderloin (8 oz) was outstanding! I broiled it rare to medium rare that night for dinner and it was a melt in the mouth delicious experience. I stopped into this establishment and was amazed at how clean and orderly it was. The staff was very friendly and greeted me with a smile and a welcome.
