Little White School House — Attraction in Ripon

It is a one room school. They charge $2 for an adult to receive a presentation. The lady we had was wonderful! She geared the presentation, which wasn't only about the Birthplace of the GOP, to my 6 & 8 year old. They were totally into it and learned a lot!

I've read some of the other reviews. Those that listed poorly I doubt if they have even visited the place. My son had to go to the bathroom. We had to walk next door to a bank and use the bathroom there...no problems, clean, and workers were welcoming and understood why...

Very small you could probably take in everything in 15 minutes. Was surprised that even though it's the original schoolhouse it's not the original location. The Gentleman who was there answered our Questions. Our young Grandchildren enjoyed the school books and small chalk tablets and chalk, and Pretended to teach each other. They rang the teachers bell to "quiet the class" Also the photos and articles that are on display about the Anti Slavery movement are extensive and very informative.
