Fresca Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Ripon

Today was their grand opening, and we wanted to check it out. EVERYTHING is fresh! I saw one of the chefs cutting up the beef, so I know it wasn't your typical bag of frozen "mystery meat". The salsa, Pico de Gallo, guacamole, queso, etc. all tasted homemade. My husband and I both got burritos, which are 12", and my daughter got a burrito bowl. They are stuffed full with whatever you choose to put in them. Some ingredients come included in the base price and others will cost extra (such as meat and guac). All of our meals were very filling and delicious. I like that the tortilla chips are warmed and not just grabbed from a bag. The restaurant was very clean, well lit, and had a nice updated look. After visiting the Ripon dog park several times per week, we finally decided to check out the Fresca Mexica grill, after trying some taco dinners, I’m convinced this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve encountered, it’s not your standard place, but the final result is I’ve got a new go to place for Mexican fare, I ordered a taco dinner with 3 steak tacos, sides of black beans and rice and that was very enjoyable, the steak was the best I’ve yet to have, the portion of meat on the shell was incredible, the pico was tasty and it came fast! I’d go again and try some other options, the set up is similar to two national chains where you choose a shell or bowl, the protein s and then your toppings, great system, food and friendly staff! Fresca is hands down the best fast-casual restaurant I have ever been too. While Chipotle is a well established brand and company they do not compare to Fresca. Fresca’s entire staff welcomes you to the establishment with warms smiles and the smells of amazing Mexican food. When I ordered my burrito I was electrified, that first bite is something I’ll never forget the mixture of flavors the juiciness of that chicken was something I had never experienced in my life.
