Buyer BEWARE! All braiders are not equal!! I have gotten my hair done twice. I will not be back a third time.

1st Time my hair was nicely braided. Pretty even. My request however, was for less hair in the braid. Plus, my braids tapered down. Since I didn’t specify. I let it go.

Second time I specifically asked for things I didn’t get. Braid size even throughout. Nope, tapered again. Braids on the side by my temple are uneven (left side high and right side low). I asked for more sideburn to be included in the braid. I didn’t want too much baby hair exposed. Uneven parting at the crown of my hair. Who does that?? Again left side up and right side down. Hair doesn’t lay right with part down the middle as a result. Length uneven in a few spots. Would make sense if two separate people were braiding my hair.

I noticed the next day and the manager tried to quote the policy of 15 min rule after you get your hair done. With persistence I got an appointment for a few days later cause braider’s schedule. Long story short timing got messed up…salon pushed my time back and I had other obligations so I missed the slot. Not very happy about this cause I wanted my hair done right the first time! I don’t have time to run back and forth to the shop….especially with traffic! PAY TOO MUCH MONEY TO BE UNSATISFIED! Will not...

I came here and when I got in they didn’t even say hi once until I spoke . My appointment was at 2 and she didn’t even start until about 2:20. When she started blow drying my hair she was so rough that I was seeing hair particles flying out also the heat was so high that I could see the blow dryer steaming. She started the braids and I told her that it was different from the picture and she told me to “trust her”. When I told her they looked different she told me that that’s the way she does them. Everything was going ok until we got to the middle part. I specifically told her to make the part straight . As a stylist how can you be looking directly over me and can’t notice the part was so off. It was curving to the left and it was so obvious. It looked like a J. When I asked her to redo the middle two braids she said that there is nothing that she can do for me and that she can’t be wasting her time. I decided that I was going to leave and she said that I couldn’t leave until she took the braids out. I proceeded to take them out myself and left. Not only was the middle part terrible but she used so much product that my hair was so weighed down after I took the braids out. Don’t waste your time coming here. I went yo get my hair braided about one month ago. The girl who did my hair was not the one whom usually does my hair. I informed this stylist she was doing thr braids incorrect, although she was instructed by my regular stylist how to do my hair.

My regular stylist already had an appointment; therefore, asked this so called stylist to help. This girl acted like she was going to do it over correctly, but as soon ad she took the last braid out, she told me she WOULD NOT do my hair over. I wasted time and gas. She was offended because I criticized her work, as a client has the right to you if the style is incorrect. They are paying your salary. I've never seen this level of unprofessionalism and an absence of customer service. NO ONE DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT!

The regular stylist told me to come back 6 am THE NEXT MORNING, and promised she'd be there. She knew I had a flight that next day and couldn't get my hair done.

I texted her about the incident after i left, and I guess someone else saw the message; ; therefore, suddenly I was then told to turn around and come right back, because she'd be able to do my hair.
