Helios Cigar Lounge — Local services in Riverside

I've been living in Riverside my whole life. It's funny the things you miss in your own city because you just don't look because you think you know it all. Take my advice, if you are looking for something in your city, actually search for it!!!! I've been missing out on local cigar lounge for 3 years hahah!!!

I try to generally give ratings based on what could they do better. The only reason Helios doesn't have a 5 star is because they do not have a bar. That is it, plain and simple.

This place does everything right! It is in a good location, there is adequate ventilation, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

One thing I really like about Helios is that the sell tobacco for pipes!!! I got into pipe smoking about 2 years ago. So I will definitely be going there with my pipe.

Helios has a really nice humidor that is packed! They have a really good selection of cigars, and they know right where things are if you only really know what you want to smoke, and don't have a brand in mind. Helios is also decorated very masculine with dark colors and leather seats and sofas. While they don't have a bar, they do have a cooler with non alcoholic drinks for sale. There is also a pool table, and 3 or 4 big screens.

I am not a cigar smoker I just went in to pick up a gift for a good friend and like I said I am not a smoker therefore I was clueless on what to purchase. The gentleman that helped me was just amazing he explained things to me so nicely and was extremely patient he asked a lot of questions to make sure he was giving me the best cigars for my friend! I will have to say he nailed it, he said that he loved all 5 cigars they were not in a pack they were all picked out individually which I really appreciated, I wanted the gift to feel more personalized and it worked. Also, want to mention the gps on my phone was not working and they gave me directions to their place with out a fuzz and in detail left right ect! Thank you very much to the two kind gentleman that helped me out that day the one on the phone and the one that helped with the cigars I work customer 💺💈service and I appreciate and acknowledge when I get it back! I do want to say first time in cigar shop it was very nice clean and atmosphere felt amazing crossed a few words with people that were having a cigar there everyone seemed very friendly and like they were having a great time! I can say I might go back one day to smoke a cigar just because of the amazing service and fabulous...

I was in Riverside for business and decided to stop by a local cigar lounge for a smoke, I'm glad I did! I have been smoking cigars for around 25 years, I thoroughly enjoy the camaraderie in the Cigar community, and the HELIOS lounge exemplifies everything that I think the cigar community should be: well-managed, excellent selection, friendly and inviting atmosphere, and most of all...good and accepting patrons! Although I had never been to this shop before, I was treated like a valued customer...no judgement, no pretentiousness, just a bunch of people sharing the common love of cigars! I highly recommend this shop to anyone whether you are just looking for a cigar for the day or a shop to call...
