Smoke and Fire Social Eatery — Restaurant in Riverside

Smoke & Fire Social Eatery has been one of my favorite casual places to eat recently because they offer delicious food at a reasonable price with excellent service. While the interaction with the staff is mainly when placing an order at the register, the brief moment is met with employees who are knowledgeable about the products they offer and suggest.

The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and has plenty of parking spaces.

Below is a list of items we've tried: Brisket Tacos - My favorite item to order here! It includes 3 brisket tacos that are filling and can be shared or saved for another meal. I love the crunchy slaw with the tender and juicy brisket. The slight acidity of the slaw complements the savory brisket. And the melted cheese makes for a secondary “tortilla”. This is excellent! side of Mac and Cheese - I’ve had many Mac and Cheese from various restaurants and this ranks as one of my top 3! It comes out piping hot, gooey without being runny, and the curly pasta has the perfect chew. It’s a must with every order! 1 lb of Brisket - Can’t go wrong with this! It comes with a couple slices of white bread. Use it to build yourself a brisket sandwich with the side of slaw that it comes with. Add a bit of that think and tangy BBQ sauce for an ultimate bite! Red-skin Potato Salad - This potato salad tops Phil’s BBQ’s potato salad. Potatoes are usually heavy but the flavor keeps it light. I love how tender the potatoes are. Corn Bread - We got a free slice and liked the taste. It’s a little crumbly but it’s still delicious. Giant Pretzel with Cheese - Delicious!! The pretzel is soft and the cheese is gooey. Brisket Fries - Got a free side of this! Their fries are pretty good without anything. The Brisket Fries is an enhanced version with crisscut fries, the same cheese used with the pretzel, and tender and juicy brisket. I like to add it with their slaw. It’s so good!

They have 2 neutral restrooms that are kept clean. And lots of seating options. They also have plenty of parking spaces. This is good for a group or large party, since they have tables that can easily be moved around.

Overall, I love Smoke & Fire Social Eatery and I’m looking forward to trying other items from their menu. This is definitely a winner and I’m so glad we have one in the...

I gotta say, I was a bit confused when I saw the digital menu stating that dogs eat free. I looked to my left, and a lady had a little dog on her lap while she ate. Later, I saw 2 bug white dogs chillin' outside. I'M A DOG LOVER. This is perfect! However, my visit didn't feature my dogs.

Guys and gals, you must try what I tried. Look at my videos! The Texan BBQ Fries were amazingly great! The two of us couldn't finish it, as we had our main plates. So tasty and ABSOLUTELY MOUTH WATERING! The flavors make your taste buds open up! I'm not exaggerating.

I got the NASHVILLE HOT CHICKEN SANDWICH! The employee asked me how hot I wanted the sandwich. I told her to give me the hottest they have. She made sure because they had to give the customer a warning because it's hot. I'm Chicano, so hot/spicy food is nothing new to me. The chicken sticks out of the bread...JUST LIKE THE PICTURE! No lies here like those other fast food places. This is the real deal! I must say, IT IS HOT! If you can't handle spicy food, DO NOT try it. My drink was a Mexican lager called Saca La Bolsita. Hahahaha! It was a great beer! Also, since it was happy hour, I GOT A FREE REFILL ON MY BEER!!! Yeah!!

The other order was the Nashville Hot Chicken Burrito. To be honest, I was so in to my own food that I only had a bite of that one. However, it wasn't finished because we got full. So later that night, I popped it in the microwave and ate it. PHENOMENAL! I loved it as well. Next time, I will order that to try it fresh. I mean, if it was delicious after sitting for hours, it must be even better freshly cooked.

We sat outside to enjoy the summer breeze. The only issue is that the summer flies were flying around. So, if you don't want to be bothered by flies, sit inside. They have highchairs for children. Restrooms are clean. They also sell t-shirts. DOG FRIENDLY 🐕

Straight to the point: Alicia and team were AMAZING!!! Service, GREAT! Food, GREAT!!!

Details if you care: I had called Smoke & Fire asking if they would be able to accommodate a large amount of walk-ins. The reason being - I was trying to find somewhere to eat after a funeral service. We weren't doing a traditional repass, but rather we decided we would go to a restaurant and anyone who wanted to join us from the service would be welcome. I've worked in the food industry in the past and I know it's very difficult to accommodate a large group without a reservation, not to mention, I had called later than I would have liked (the Friday before the Tuesday service). The person I spoke to on the phone took down my name and information and said that he would do his best to put some tables together for about 25 - 30 people (the original number I gave him). I also told him that we would arrive around 12 - 12:30 and the service went longer than expected. Long story not so short, when we were on our way, we did call them letting them know we were on our way, however, when we arrived, the tables were not set up for us. I asked the cashier and she went to get the manager. Alicia, the manager, explained to us that they did have the tables set up, but since we were not there at 12:30 and she didn't have a way to contact us, that they put the tables back. She said that we may have to sit separately (which was fine), but that she would work with her team to get space for us and in less than 10 minutes, there was space for everyone. I was SOOOO incredibly appreciative of the way she handled everything. Not only did she make it work, she was so kind throughout are visit, she kept checking in on us, and the food was AMAZING.
