Last night I went in late around 830 or so to buy some mens business casual clothes for work and it was very uncomfortable because this one employee.
I didn't check his name tag but he seemed to be staring at me where ever i went. No matter where I would go in the store he would be close near me.
I honestly should have approached him and asked him a few questions and got his name at least but was too tired from working several 12 hour days straight in the healthcare field. I was already having a bad day being tired and he made it worse.
I do not deserve to be feel made like eyes have to be on me at all times while shopping and feeling like a few employees are using radios to communicate with each other about me.
The Target on canyon springs have never made me feel like that and thats normally where I go but Arlington was on my way home from work and didnt want to back track to moreno valley. Ironically Target in Arlington store appearance looks horrible like it was in a bad neighborhood or something. Store was very messy even Walmart looks better.
I will be walking in with a hidden camera next time and will post my proof on you tube and tik tok on how this store treats certain races if the next time I go this happens with being watched and followed.
I shouldn't have to be treated like Im going to steal due to my race especially with what I've made working 9 days straight I can assure you is much more than what that guy...
Read moreThe negative review is mainly because this store is not “Deaf Friendly.” I needed to buy an allergy medicine. The allergy meds are behind locked glass door which was a bit silly because it’s right in front of the pharmacist’s eyesight. It had a small speaker on the door saying to wave under the sensor to activate the speaker.
Well, for one, I am Deaf. I cannot hear if someone is speaking to me through the speaker. I cannot speak to the speaker asking for assistance. There is no button to press to alert someone. So, I had to walk all way down to the grocery area to flag someone to walk back with me so I can grab a basic generic store brand allergy med. The worker was nice and helped me out.
What made this whole experience a nonsense was that this store is DIRECTLY across from the biggest school for the Deaf in Southern California. Riverside has a large Deaf community. I hope the store manager reads this and reconsider how the shopping experience is for the Deaf folks who frequent this store and identify and update these pain points. This is the 21st century. Let’s get on with the time 🙂 okay rant...
