My teacher was miss Angie, she didn't teach us anything about phlebotomy and always had us leaving early on the weekends I paid $3000 just to be in class for 4-5 hours on a 8 hour class schedule. I didn't learn anything because she was too busy studying for her own nursing class and we kept having different teachers. I had a family member who went there she was the one who helped me pass the class not Angie, I can't even get my draws to finish the class for open labs because both teachers left early the weekend I was last there, it was at 12pm and they were already leaving out the door for the day, Saying no labs they did labs at 11am and were done for the day, all the students were leaving at 1130. I don't know the other teachers name I think she was new but it was her and miss Angie. All that money I paid, I show up to finish and can't because no one is ever there on Saturday for open labs. I went on a Friday for extra tutoring and that instructor wasn't even there for the morning no one's ever there, I've gone almost every Friday ever since and still she's not there My cousin could probably teach me how to draw if I have the supplies but that's sad I did shouldn't have to go through her when I paid all this money to go...
Read moreIn my experience, Ms. Vicky was not a great Phlebotomy instructor. She lacked the motivation and passion needed to properly teach the course. After our class submitted a written statement to admin outlining our concerns, she was ultimately removed from the program.
Unfortunately, the Riverside location seemed unorganized and behind. Lab days kept getting changed, I'd receive calls from other campuses asking for documents because Riverside was behind. A significant portion of the staff were leaving, and students were left uncertain about how to succeed in the next steps of the program.
Despite raising our concerns to admin that we felt we had not received the proper education—we were not given the opportunity to retake the course to truly learn the material and succeed with a more passionate instructor.
I feel I wasted my money and time on a program, I was genuinely excited to take. I hope to see more positive reviews on this school...
