Hello! First I want to start off by saying that Zen Leaf in Dayton is AMAZING!!! I have gone for years and the staff has always been knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and made me feel very comfortable. And they do the same for everyone else. And trust me, the staff deals with very irritable and unreasonable people all of the time and handles it very well.
Second, something very unique and awesome that separates Zen Leaf from the rest is the Ducks!!! I drive a Jeep and am biased but if you understand the story behind the Duck thing and how it got started, itâs about connection and kindness!! Regardless of whether itâs a Duck or some other small token, culturally this idea is brilliant!!!
I thought this was a company idea, I noticed people talking about it and wanting to go not only for the product but also the atmosphere. I went in recently and they were all down, and then I looked online at one bad review from one person that has issues with the Ducks. Please listen to the majority of your customers, not a small negative percent that is represents less than 1% of your customer base.
I hope that management sees the brilliance of having a logo/mascot that is tangible and sends a message of comfort, safety and kindness. This would bring in more customers over time. You will lose so many more customers by listening to one negative person. This world needs more kindness, donât fall in line with the rest, separate yourself with this awesome opportunity to support love in our world! I work in Mental Health, and noticing joy being spread in small ways like this makes me smile. We need to see the good in the world!
At this point I go in for the smiles and the Ducks. It draws more people on than you realize! I know without that atmosphere Iâd stop having a preference on where I go. Most everyone will. I hear people say they drive further for it.

   Read moreI am beyond disappointed with the level of customer service as well as the effectiveness of being able to call directly to the store to speak with the manager. When you call they send you to a call center instead of directly to the store. Would you my case is very important because I need to speak with the manager of this Riverside location.
A little bit about what happened firstly don't ever use a debit card at this location they will tell you there is a network error and they will not send you home with your product and you will be out of the money. Upon trying to contact the store directly to speak with the manager I was sent to a call center. Where are there not even really able to help they give you a whole entire run around and then you still have to wait and wait and wait for them to resolve any issue. Which I honestly think it's ridiculous I think you should be able to call the location personally to speak with whoever works at that location instead of going to some off-site 3rd party call center. I have attempted to dispute this transaction with my bank however the fact that matter that when you make a purchase on your debit card it shows up as an ATM withdrawal and the majority of ATM withdrawals are in increments of tens or twenties not in increments of any odd numbers they aren't willing to help. So now I feel as if I've just been intentionally robbed by whoever worked by saying that there was a network error even though when I showed them proof on my phone that the transaction went through they just shook their heads and golfed at me and sent me...
   Read moreThis place is awesome! First time paperwork was short and reasonable. There was a short, reasonable wait. The gentleman working the desk was very nice and courteous and got me checked in very quickly. I loved the personalized service. They will take you back and give a very thorough consultation using the information you've provided to recommend what would be best for your situation.
The young lady who did my consultation (sorry, horrible with names) was wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. I had done my research prior to going and come to my own conclusion as far as what I thought would work best. It was nice to see that her recommendation and what I thought would be best were one and the same. Certainly showed me they know their stuff.
After the consultation, she was happy to take me back into the main room and show me samples of any of the product. They were kept in glass jars with vents to allow you to get a good smell of each. They also have the terpene profile of each selection to give you an idea of the flavor profile, which was very nice. The other two ladies working were extremely friendly and we had a great dialogue while they were getting my order ready.
