Pita N More — Restaurant in Riverside

First time here on Oct. 14, 2022. Walk in and the place looks bright and clean. Right away the gentleman says order when you're ready and let me know if you have any questions. ( after all, it is a medditeranian restaurant so the food is different ) Hubby wanted the cream cheese pie and I wanted the spinach pie, but the guy said I'm so sorry, we make them in bulk and we are sold out but we will have them tomorrow. He saw the slight disappointed look on our face and gave us some baklava on the house. ( really it was no big deal that they were out of the pies, but he insisted on the free baklava) so, I ordered the medium chicken shawarma wrap and it came with french fries. Hubby ordered chicken shawarma and rice bowl with fries. We sit down and wait. Not long after he brings us the food. Now, my wrap was huge! The wrap was nice and crispy, the chicken and stuff inside was so delicious! I was asked when ordering if I wanted the pickles, lettuce and tomatoes inside, and boy- o- boy I'm glad I said yes!! The french fries were a stiff competition with McDonald's, and I would go as far as saying better! They were hot and so crispy ... just perfect for my taste! Hubby took one bite of his and made the mmmmmmmmnn sound. He loved his so much that he had me try it . Just the right spices, hot and tender chicken and the rice was cooked perfectly. Their garlic sauce stuff was amazing!!!! I dipped my fries in it mmmmmm. Portion sizes were big, and we both took " to go boxes" home. The guy asked us if everything was ok and we said " soooo good! We will be back!!" He was super nice and professional. If I would say anything at all negative it would be the constant dings of the door ding ding ding... lol it was starting to get annoying, but I understand why it's there. :) overall...

Tried this place out for the first time tonight. Put an online carryout order in. The food wasn't ready when my husband arrived to pick it up, but the person working was fantastic in communicating about it. He even made an order over again so it was all freshly done at the same time.

Everything tasted delicious. I had the large chicken shawarma wrap with veggies added and fries. The meat was flavorful and not dry. The fries were seasoned so well. I had to save some of the wrap for later because of the size. Asked for extra garlic sauce and it was delicious. The husband has the Greek style lamb wrap and it was packed full. He said it was very tasty. My son has a lamb bowl waiting for him (and it also looks amazing and has a lot of food in the box). I'm so glad I ordered some extras for leftover for the next couple of days.

Went tonight for the first time. Got the kushari and some baklava. The owner \ chef (I assume) was extremely friendly and offered suggestions on menu items and how to eat the food. 🙂 He gave me some extra sauces (which I quickly added all of, to my food) and began to dig in. Some of the absolutely best Mediterranean food I've ever had. You can tell the owner really cares about the food he serves by the presentation and quality of the home made food. Every single item on the menu is freshly made from scratch. I'll definitely be back to try them all! Thank you for a delicious meal. Edit: Been here several times since the first and the food is consistently delicious, the service is always friendly. Amazing Mediterranean...
