Overall, I LOVE Dr. Johnson. She is so good at her job, very thorough, listens, and truly has your best interest in mind. Shelly was one of the ladies that helped me pick out my glasses. She is SO GOOD at her job. She gave me suggestions that were spot on, helped me narrow it down when I couldn't make a decision and was very knowledgeable about all things glasses. Gave me price estimates before giving me the final order info to make sure the numbers were ok, etc. The manager, however, (I think her name was Jessica?) was rude. I couldn't get over how she treated her staff. She was condescending, talked down to them, but all while pretending to help the customers. It was clear the staff felt uncomfortable and she wasn't doing the customers any favors either. All the staff were working hard and so pleasant and she was almost reprimanding them in front of customers as if trying to throw her weight around. I felt so uncomfortable watching the way she spoke to them. I've been coming to Target optical for many years now, and have always had good experiences. The majority of the staff was wonderful, but something tells me it's a toxic environment for those working under the "manager," and that is not how a business should run. Those staff are the reason I keep coming back. At one point she even mumbled to me that she would be doing some "re-education" for the staff because I asked for another receipt because she assumed it was their fault. I explained it wasn't their fault and the staff was very pleasant but she insisted that they weren't doing their jobs correctly. It was a very gross behavior that I hope I don't encounter again. The gentleman that helped me said my prescription was expired and said he could not give me an eye exam and that they did not have an optometrist on site. Shelly was great with customer service, very welcoming and great at helping me decide which pair of glasses look best on me. The two are a great pair. The Doctor was good as well, although it was virtual, it didn't seem to hinder the process at all. Overall I would recommend this location...
