It has been an absolute pleasure working with JMC Landscape Contracting. We set out wanting to build a patio in our backyard. What we ended up with was a beautiful patio and far more as this review will reveal. The whole process, right from getting an estimate, being pitched ideas practical and aesthetic, quality of work, crew courtesy, work ethic - you couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Not one to give gushing reviews, I have absolutely no qualms giving this one to Jay and his crew, as it is truly deserved. As you watched them work, you couldn’t help but feel that to them it was a labor of love and it was as if they were building this patio for their own home. There was attention paid to every detail and no rush to finish the job, more important to get it right. The result that we now see in front of us is beautiful and beyond our expectations. And what made this experience unique and remarkable was the professionalism, downright courtesy and consideration that Jay showed all through the process. We've worked with contractors before, and this didn’t feel anything like. There are 3 aspects to any reasonably sized job done by a contractor - your quality of work, how much you charge for it and the relationship that you build with the client, and I am happy to say JMC excelled in all. They went over and above what was laid out in the contract, not even charging us for some of these things, to do something close to Jay’s heart which is “create beautiful living spaces” (his own words). We look forward to future projects with JMC and wholeheartedly recommend...

We have been using JMC for weekly landscaping for about 5 years and snow removal for two years. This summer we used JMC to complete our long term backyard project. Over the past few years, two different contractors completed our deck and pavers surrounding the pool. After obtaining multiple quotes, we hired JMC to complete the final piece of this project to help in tying everything together and creating a lower area with pavers. Jay provided recommendations and suggestions of how to design and lay the pavers with the goal to tie the whole yard together and make it feel like all work was completed all at once. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Without Jay’s expert opinion, we wouldn’t have found a way to tie the whole yard together as well. Jay has always been extremely responsive, dependable and affordable. A few times over the years I asked if his team could complete landscaping on a particular day prior to hosting parties in the yard and they always went out of their way to make it happen. JMC just finished a long awaited project for us…..and we could not be happier! Reasonable pricing – Not the lowest quote we received, but not the highest either. We had friends who have used him the recent past and swore by the quality and durability of the work Professionalism – Jay and his crew are polite and hard working guys. They worked 6-7 days a week, and if it wasn’t raining they were at it…just stopping for lunch! How often has one had a construction project completed on time? Creative ideas – They took our vision of what we wanted and gave us a design that was beyond it. Small details like how the steps curved, how the pathway was flared Quality and attention to detail – The amount of cutting they had to do to make sure every piece of stone fit just right was ridiculous …but the crew would measure, mark and cut each of them to fit perfectly. And it looks amazing.
