Kind employees. Good selection. Prices are good. Only problem is MANY items are months or even a year past expiration date. ALL the fish sauce from ALL brands was expired. Expired fish sauce can give you food poisoning or even kill.

It makes me not trust the products that do not have dates. I can not trust the frozen food here either.

The owner replied to another review that mentioned expired and bad tasting products. Owner said they would fix it. This was 6 months ago. Clearly they did not keep their promise.

Would be five stars if not for such incredibly expired goods and having done nothing since the last reviewer...

EDIT: unfortunately I threw them out as soon as I saw mold. I didn’t think that I could return produce or that the owner would take it back.

Great selection of things I can’t normally find anywhere else. Cashier was helpful and friendly. Only downside is, a lot of their “fresh” vegetables and produce is over a month old and when I got home, I realized my ginger and Thai chilis had TONS of mold on them and were packaged in early October. My fault for not checking before I purchased, but I think they should keep their produce up to date...

My family and I decided to check it out this evening. We usually go to Phan Thiet market in Carol Stream but didn’t feel like driving that far today. My kids found a bunch of Hello Kitty Yan Yan like dipping biscuits that they were so excited to get…until I noticed they were all EXPIRED. By many months. I even checked the sealed boxes on the top shelf & they were all expired too. A few other items were also expired. Make sure you check the dates on everything!
