Make sure your nail tech knows what they're doing. The woman who helped me was supposed to do a gel chrome powder manicure. No only did the color come out darker than what was displayed on the swatch, but there was barely any (if at all) chrome effect since she let my nails bake too long before putting on the chrome powder. I'm not sure if that's why the color came out darker, or if it was because she should have used a white base coat. Either way, it was something I could have accomplished on my own with regular shimmery nail polish from a drug store instead of paying $35 and walking...
