Kabob Village — Restaurant in Rocklin

I am so glad I gave this little gem a try for dinner based on my daughter's experience of the tea selection!

The Asian style cold tea drinks and mediterranean dishes complemented each other very well! The sweet milk tea with boba served as a good palate cleanser for me in-between bites of the well-seasoned, not-too-spicy dinner dishes, which was totally unexpected! I was also fortunate to get a taste of their soup and dessert, which were pack full of flavors in a most un-assuming way.

Overall, the food is delicious, portions generous, fantastic hospitality from the owner and his family. I can tell that the owner (Sammy, sp?) takes tremendous pride in his craft, from the moment that I ordered take-out by phone (I am old fashioned), to pick-up, and surprisingly receiving a follow-up later by Sammy on the food quality! I seldom bother to write reviews on dining in my nearly two decades in Rocklin, but this is a place that I am actually excited enough to tell others about. Fuji Teahouse on Stanford Ranch and Park is SO good! My daughter and I went for lunch after having skipped breakfast and dine all the outdoorsy things all morning so we both arrived starving. We shared a chicken and gyro combo plate and a veggie spring roll bowl and everything was absolutely delicious. From the soup to the pita bread to the homemade hummus and tzatziki every bite was amazing. Definitely some of the best gyro I’ve ever had. My daughter’s strawberry peach boba was also perfect, good flavor and not too sweet. The owner was super nice, the place was clean, the prices were very reasonable, and the portions were huge. We left with plenty of leftovers despite how hungry we were when we arrived. We will be back (probably tomorrow!). I can’t wait to try everything...

We had the BEST experience at Fuji Tea House & Mediterranean Grill (recently under new ownership) and will definitely be back! This is exactly the kind of spot our area needs!! The food and drinks were SO delicious, fresh and homemade. The restaurant is family owned and the owner was so kind and attentive! Super yummy lentil soup, pita bread & baklava for dessert was included with our meal and we left so full -- it was plenty of food for such a reasonable price. Everything was incredible. Such a great meal.

The drinks were also delicious and you are able to customize sweetness level to your own preference which is great. The restaurant is clean and exactly the kind of business you can feel good about supporting. We can't wait...
