I try to give out as many positive reviews as possible, but I just can't with Vegas Nails. I am also extra understanding given our current situation and restrictions. We have tried a few visits with in the last year. The location is very convenient, but it's pricey. Their pricing sets the bar higher. The quality is bad, the facility is dirty and the majority of the staff are rude. I get things happen, that's why I didn't complain about my appointment not being written down and starting over an hour late. Amy (manager) was very unprofessional and seemed inconvenienced, but was quick to throw the PRICEY tab at me. I asked for a full set with a manicure, she charged me for a manicure and argued it was done (pictures included). Thank you to Ann who fixed them and was so kind. The full set took maybe 10 min. and halfway done. Then my brow wax ($10), legit used cut up copy paper for strips. Ripped the paper off so hard it left a raw patch. I go get a pedicure, I am already here and this is supposed to be a treat anyway, I just figured go ahead and I wouldn't go back. I'm in the chair and there are dead bugs, I quietly tell Amy and she looked disgusted with me and said she would get it later. I paid for a pedicure that included hot towels, didn't get that, but paid for it. I watched and cameras can verify, those stations and chairs weren't wiped down after people and neither were the color swatches. The first two stations have those homemade shield things and the rest are being used without. By the time I left, that place was packed with people. I know some people haven't been other places because there aren't many locally, but this place is horrible. Anywhere else is amazing quality or much cheaper for this quality. I tried to speak to a manager, she didn't care. So, all I can do is share my experience. This was absolutely ridiculous. I want to add, I WAS NOT asking for anything discounted or free, just making her aware. I pay each time and don't complain. Despite this experience, I still tipped the others well. We will not be back. I don't even care if she wasn't friendly, just be professional and sanitary. All I know is over the last year of trying this place here and there, it has progressively gotten worse. Started with OPI and cloth waxing strips and ended up like this- their prices did not...
Read moreThis was the worst service ever. I took my mom who was visiting from Ohio for graduation. She just wanted to have her polish removed and touched up, she doesn't have gel or acrylic nails just natural but the guy who worked on her applied a chemical which dripped all over her pants when it dried it caused stains and was hard and crusty and would come out. She tried to tell him she has natural nails but he didn't listen and seemed to be getting directions from another nail technician as if he didn't know what he was doing. He nails were never dried and polish was all over her skin she was very unhappy with his treatment of her has well. Not a nice guy at all is how she described him. I went back the next day to let them know my mother was not very happy with her service or the treatment she received and the owner blew it off and tried to say I was mad about a $2 credit card fee when I never even mentioned money. I told her we would never return and would report her to the state and she acted unphased and continue to work on her client and to ignore my concerns of potential unlicensed nail technicians working at her facility. Do not spend your money with these people they are not concerned about providing a...
Read moreHorrible service. I have been to this business before and left unsatisfied by their work but I decided to give them another chance to redeem themselves because the location is much more convenient for me rather than drive 30 minutes away for other known reputable nail salons. What a mistake that was. If you are looking for them to do a nail art, don’t bother…no nail technician in the place can do free hand and want to compensate for a cheap looking nail sticker! Needless to say I refused to walk out of there with a very cheap looking nail sticker or wiggly free hand. The design I chose wasn’t even a hard design! The paint color that I choose was not the color that was put on my nails and I had asked that he repair a nail that was about to pop off (of which he thought that just putting a layer of acrylic on top was going to fix the bottom layer that was coming loose). Last, I had to make them re-file the sides of the acrylic nails because they were chipped and I STILL had to take my own file to them when returning home because he still didn’t get the rough edges even after making him revisit his poor work. DO NOT...
