Tequila Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Rockmart

I frequent Tequilas to see Victoria, she is the bartender but became family. I recently came in during the day with my child. The sever CODY treated me horribly, never greeted me, I found something new in the menu I wanted to try… instead of helping me, he said when I find it… he would get it. It was on the vegetarian part of the menu. I ordered a drink, my drink from the bartender was hand delivered before my child’s sweet tea… it took several minutes to get him to bring it. Also he never brought a straw. Me being a regular, thought nothing of it and just went up and asked him for one. He was just standing in the back, not busy… he rolled his eyes and handed me the straw. ALSO keep in mind, he gave my SIX year old a grown cup and put a lid on it!! I received the food from the runner and the sever never came to ask if we were alright. At the end he brought the bill, I was changed $4.95 for a CHILDS sweet tea. When you go to any restaurant usually the kids drink is included. They’re small. I could buy several boxes of tea bags for what I paid for a few sips of tea. All I did was walk up to the podium to get a menu, to see if this was an accurate charge. The sever Checo confronted me and I explained what I was looking at and how horrible my server was. Checo’s only words to me was “we don’t make the prices” and walked away. He walked up to Cody and they began discussing how I complained about a $5 kids tea and made it clear if I was complaining I should stay at home. I have been a sever for more than 10+ years, Victoria is well taken care of by myself and my friends. I left no Tip and said will never return. I love Victoria and hope management gets rid of that toxicity so we can continue visiting.

The ONLY reason I scored as high as I did is because of my past experiences with Victoria. I called, she immediately went into action on apologizing for two grown men’s actions of a mom and their daughter...

Nice staff and we received our order quickly. I'm not a huge Mexican food fan but mu husband and oldest son love it. They both thoroughly enjoyed their meal. My only complaint was there was a table seated in the aisle right beside our booth and they were obnoxiously loud and rude. It was 2 mothers with 4 young children, ages 2-7 I'd venture. Well the youngest child kept SCREAMING and crying the whole time and the mom just kept yelling at the poor thing. The kid was hungry and having a hard time feeding herself and needed help but the mom was too self absorbed to notice or care. Not to mention she had a pretty loud and vocal potty mouth that would probably have made a sailor blush! As a mom, and a human being who actually cares about people, especially kids, I was appalled and deeply upset by the scene that my family was unfortunately witnessing up close. I kept trying to find our server or someone to tell them that they needed to talk with that table about their rude and loud behavior but I couldn't find him anywhere! We ended up leaving and just left cash on the table to cover our bill. I also saw 2 additional tables do the same thing bc they also couldn't handle watching that train wreck of a family. If you have a small business, it's pretty imperative that you address issues such as this quickly to ensure you keep your loyal and socially appropriate families coming back! I told my husband I refuse to ever go...

One of my favorite restaurants. I love rather close. Eat there quite often. Was very upset at the food service. Service was very slow. Ordered Texas fajitas without bell peppers (allergy). Order came, was not sizzling as it is supposed to be. Had a few bell peppers. You could tell that they cooked it in bell peppers and tried to pull them out before they served it to me and didn’t get them all ( which is why it wasn’t hot). Told them to remake due to allergies to bell peppers. After the rest of my party was done eating they finally came with my fajitas. I had to rush and cram my meal down my throat as fast as I could due to everyone at the table was ready to go. Not one apology or any suggestion of any form of compensation for my troubles. I even suggested it and they said no. So, I am very upset with this night. Service and food have been going downhill for about a year. Getting worse by the visit. Will probably go across the street to the competition...
