I consistently have issues each time I go to this location. Missing food, employees who don't know how to work their ipads or what functions to use, my bag has been soaked on the bottom before and the food has fallen through, and hair in food (there was a hair in my fries last visit too). This last visit is what finally made me leave a review because I feel as though this location has had enough chances from me. Let me start off by saying the food is always good, the taste and temperature is always as it should be and speed of service is fine. However, I faced the same issues I've had before on my last visit. The employee didn't know how to work her iPad and this caused confusion which took a bit to figure out, but it's understandable. We were told this location no longer does well done fries, which was kind of shocking but I guess doesn't matter because any time we asked we never got the fries well done regardless. Once we received our food I was in a hurry and didn't check the bag like I had started doing when going to this location and unfortunately when we got home I was missing nuggets from a kids meal. I sent my husband with the receipt to get what we were missing. It took quite a while and everyone else had finished eating already.This is because he was given such a hard time over a 5 piece nugget since his name didn't match my name which was on the receipt. Read moreThis single location has changed the way I view chick-fil-a as a whole. Chick-fil-a has reliably the most consistent restaurant around. Whether id be out west, up north, or here at home in Georgia, you could rely on a "my pleasure" and good food. Then my wife and I bought a house in Rockmart. Our first few visits, orders would be wrong, or items missing. At the time, we wrote it off as simple mistakes. Then two visits ago, I bite into one of my chicken nuggets, only to find out it was nothing but a piece of fried gristle. I'm not a big fan of gristle, so generally speaking, I lost my appetite for chick-fil-a for a few months. Today, I finally decide to give them another chance - because I WANT to like chick-fil-a. I order a bacon egg and cheese biscuit, and ask that my bacon be extra crispy. The nice gentlemen at the counter asks the manager if they can crisp some bacon to be well done, and she says it's against their policy - that it would change the recipe. I can't get extra crispy bacon if I want it, I get gristle when I order chicken nuggets, or items will be flat out missing. I was born and raised in the restaurant business. One difference I see with this franchise compared to other chick-fil-a franchisees is that I never see the owner working the drive thru, or at the counter, or behind the line - ensuring quality control. Read moreI think the employees need better training on hospitality. Tonight our family of 4 went back to try this location again after many times of being disappointed. The girl at the register had a bad attitude and of course no name tag with like a pullover. She didn't understand we wanted a spicy chicken salad said we couldn't change the chicken on the salad. I said we do this all the time so she went and got help and they fixed that. Then we sit down and they have a dirty mop and the bucket out there by the seats it smelled absolutely terrible!! Why leave this out :/ then the girl comes over while we are eating trying to clean at 7:22 I said are you about to close. She replied yes we close at 8:00 tonight. Ok but why are you basically standing there with wipes a 7:22 waiting to clean up it's not 8:00. I'm calling and explaining this to corporate.
