WARNING: Avoid this location. Unprofessional staff and extreme bias towards certain customers

Went here to browse the plastic models and collectible figures after seeing they were reopened since COVID-19. There was only myself, a employee running the shop and another customer in the store. After browsing around I was told by the employee that I had to wait outside because they could only allow 1 customer in at a time.

If this is the rule I completely understand, however by the time the employee told me this, I had been in the store for a good 10 mins browsing around while she was chatting with the other customer who seemed to be a friend of hers. Myself and the customer saw each other, I saw the sales employee, but somehow she didn’t know I was in the store saying I “snuck in” past her and that they were not fully open yet. Meanwhile the Open sign outside the shop is lit clear as day, door is propped wide open for customers to freely enter as they please, and there is no notice or banner outside saying there is a 1 customer limit.

Instead of waiting outside I simply left. If a 1 customer limit is truly the rule I understand, but the way this was brought about was unprofessional and felt like extreme customer bias. First time here, shopping for something cute for the wifey …. Hannah … hope I spelled her name correctly… came over an helped me.. I didn’t need to even ask , she took the initiative. I came in thinking I’d spend about 20 or 30 bucks top… I ended up spending over 100 and I could NOT BE HAPPIER… she explained about the characters I was buying … I was unfamiliar just looking for something with rabbits cause my beautiful Thai wife is year of the rabbit. I was going to just buy a stuffed animal … got a stuffed rabbit with matching makeup stand mirror and coffee mug, all based on the same character… my wife gave me the AWWWWWWWWWWWW at the top of her lungs she loved it all so much. I just popped in because I happened to be in the neighborhood and I must say, this is a really really good store. A lot of it is stationary, but they also have a huge selection of Plush, Model kits, figures and other merch from a myriad of different series. And while I’m not really a fan of K-Pop, if you are there’s certainly a wide selection of K-Pop merch as well. I even managed to pick up this sick Minus One Godzilla figure for around 30 bucks. Also the woman at the counter was so nice and even listened to my story about how hyped I was when Godzilla Won an Oscar and How I hope Transformers One gets Best Animated Picture this year.
