We purchased a stove from them in October 25, 2024. Oct 26 when I was baking a large cupcake for my daughter's birthday the oven smoked my house out, cut off and threw error code ERR F30 (Kenmore glass top). I cleaned the oven(again). I put an oven mat in the bottom. On Oct 26 I successfully baked 3 batches of cupcakes for my daughter's party. On Oct 27 I tried baking brownies for my kids while watching football and it threw the error code again. I called to tell them it was throwing an error code the first time on Oct 28. They suggested I clean the oven. So again I cleaned the oven and oven mat. On Nov 3 it threw the error code again. Then again on Nov 9, 10 and again on Nov 13. I spoke with them on Nov 14 and my husband took it to them to be repaired on Nov 15, he was told we could pick it up Nov 19. The morning of the 19 the call and first say the problem was because the stove was smoking while baking my husband explains it only did that one time so then they proceeded to say the problem was with the wiring but didn't explain how. We were told we could pick it up. I call them about 10:00 and ask if it is ready to be picked up I am told I have to wait until after 1:15 because they were going on a delivery I tell them that is ridiculous because they wouldn't delivery to my house I was told I had to schedule with a guy they had. When my husband gets there at 1:20 to pick to the stove they tell him they will not return it to him and they would not give a refund unless he had a receipt. He didn't have his receipt in the work van so they called the police department and stated he was making threats. The policy get there and make them refund our money after trying to argue we didn't pay what we did. After finally receiving a refund we tried to retrieve our stove plug in (they sold us a 4 prong plug and ours is 3) and they refuse to return it. So now we have to spend another $50 when we get a stove. I have 4 kids and these people in no way cared about helping us or refunding our money. We are encouraged to support the small businesses in our town but businesses like this one make it so we can't. At Lowe's I will get a warranty, return policy or a refund if needed. First he tried telling me my fridge didn't work which works perfectly fine and then he told me, after telling me it didn't work I should put it on marketplace for 80 bucks. The supposed non working fridge that he was only gonna pay me 40 for, put it on marketplace for 80. Sounds like a guy who would screw you over if you aren't careful. The type that takes advantage of older people juat to make a quick dollar. I strongly suggest NOT having any dealings with this man and if I could I would give him no stars.
