I keep saying I won't, but do anyway. I've had my last visit with this location. While there are some employees at this location that obviously try, the management seems like they couldn't care less. ALWAYS a 10-15 minute wait, even if there is nobody else waiting. On 2 separate visits, I waited 23 minutes in a drive thru spot, only to have to go inside to be told they forgot to make my order? The only reason I have kept going this long is it's a mile from home. I'll drive the 13 miles to the Peeler Rd. location in Salisbury from now on. They ALWAYS have great service and hot, fresh food. And FAST. As a long time restaurant manager, the problem I see is the leadership at this location. My last straw was mayo on a sandwich. Nobody else waiting. Business was dead slow. When I went back inside to get correct order, the manager puts packets of mayo into the bag, AFTER ALREADY telling her that I didn't want mayo on my sandwich. They do not listen. I feel bad for the teenagers who work there. They always seem to be doing the MAJORITY of the work while 3 managers look on. Ridiculous. Wanna know why most experiences today in restaurants are terrible? Because you've got mostly management that either doesn't care at all, or doesn't know what they are doing, and provide no real training, development or leadership to their employees. This coming from a restaurant manager, esteemed by his...

At some point over the past couple months this place has greatly improved in every way. Now if they could just keep non-handicap people out of handicap parking, that has become a common Rockwell problem.
Kept the old review below...just in case they start slacking.
Always wanted a Bojangles in Rockwell, and what a disappointment that has been. I've eaten here 5 times since opening and haven't had a good experience. Room temp fries, poor service, and thin biscuits. My first time there was a technical error, my food was sitting on the tray getting cold while they diagnose and restart the register. Started to write a bad review a few weeks ago because of room temp fries, but a decent Boberry biscuit salvaged the experience. Waiting to get your order taken, not sure if it's strategy to allow the customer time to decide what they want or just poor service, it's Bojangles I know what I want before walking in. Also the cups are 10 feet away from the register. Most Bojangles you order food, then get a cup so you can get your drink while waiting...
Read moreThis is the absolute worst Bojangles. I’ve been here a few times hoping it would get better but it just keeps getting worse. Every single order I’ve gotten except for one has been wrong or missing something. I spent 25 minutes of my 30 minute lunch break a couple of weeks ago ordering, getting back to work, figuring out my order was wrong AND had something missing, and going back to get it fixed. But this morning just takes the cake. After opening my biscuit, it looked like someone had taken a bite out of it. I also took a big sip of my tea only to get a mouthful of tea leaves. The employees have a careless attitude and don’t seem to be able to read and get a simple...
