Romanos Italian Cuisine — Restaurant in Rockwell

Customer service is a zero!!! A little lady that didn’t speak much English but gave a lot of attitude due to there mistakes! I ordered a spinach calzone and added pepperoni, mushrooms (which I paid 2$ extra for) I go back to work share half with a friend she ate her half immediately not knowing exactly what I ordered about a hour later I went to eat mine. Immediately I noticed there was no ricotta cheese(Which is a main ingredient) there was no mushrooms (what I paid $1) and there was (Ham which I’m allergic too) so I called soon as I started to speak she cut me off and said let me go check( I’m assuming with the guy who missed it in the first place) she got back on the phone and said he put it and hung up on me! I didn’t get off work till 9pm and had to drive up there to prove to her it was not there! Soon as I walked in with the box she snatched it off the counter and begins to throw it away while saying something that I couldn’t understand.. I had to ask to stop and give me the box because I had wings that I paid for in there. She said you ate half I will give you half your money back and throw the rest away. When all I really wanted was an apology and at least another half made the way I paid for it my total came to $19 I received $6 back and a extra 20 minute drive after working 14hrs!!! Really wanted to love this place. Relocated to Rockwell this month. I’m a concord NC native and thought this was the sister restaurant to the Romanos in concord. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Just like someone else said in reviews, the person answering the phone has no care, no personality. Nothing. Just teetering the line of being rude. You can tell they hate their job. Almost hung up just from that experience alone. Spent nearly $50. I got mild wings. There was no sauce. No flavor. Asked for them to be extra crispy. Looks like they boiled them. They literally had no flavor any whatsoever. I had to season them and put them in the oven to finish them off. My Philly Cheesesteak only had meat and cheese. You could tell the meat was super processed. Bread was hard. Fries were mushy. My partner got a pasta dish. She said it tasted bad. Wasn’t appealing at all. The most enjoyable part of my meal was my Greek salad. Everything was fresh. But they skimped on ingredients. Tried to give them a chance but it makes sense why the parking lot is never full and why their reviews are so low. They also forgot our ranch for our wings and the dressing for my salad. We ended up throwing out a good amount of food. This place could use a revamp. Maybe a new chef. Better...

Worst experience ever tonight. My husband, daughter and I went to eat here. We walk in and the guy didn’t even greet us. We sat down he walks away without asking for our drink order, stays gone for a least 15 minutes (we are the only ones in here). When he gets our drink order he was very short and snappy. We had to order our appetizer as he was walking away. We order our food and he doesn’t ask what kind of salad dressing we want. He brings salads with ranch and when my husband ask for French instead he huffs and goes to get the French. When he comes back he snatched the ranch from his plate and basically threw the French onto the table. We decide to leave and pay for the drinks we ordered. We made it very clear he had an attitude and we didn’t feel welcome at all. He NEVER apologized! Then come to find out he’s apparently the owner or owners son!!! NOT a way to keep business! We will not be back and I advise others to stay away unless you like rude people...
