This would make MaMa Jean cringe if she knew I were sharing this publicly, but I hope it’ll maybe help others-in some way. I’ve had bags-MOUNDS OF BAGS-of clothes my child’s outgrown for, well honestly, a few years now. I’ve not been able to drive myself, so it’s hard to get out for necessary trips, much less with ALL the donation stuff in tow. I once called to have it picked up, but I realize, it’s no longer feasible for charities to pick up. I’ve attempted multiple times to call charities closer to my home, closer to the old downtown area, to no avail. I even tried calling several again today. Yet, I had a way to take it, and it was pretty much today or never. Do, the last place I called to beg them to take my ten back trash bags full of clothes and toys my kid had barely used, I got a sweet vice on the other end telling me “sure, c’mon!. Have a blessed day!” And I couldn’t hardly believe that they’d actually accept the stuff I know I could sell, some return to stores, but I want it to benefit others in need, and most of all-be used for the glory of God. I’ve donated to many charities who understandably weren’t accepting whatever I had at a given time, but Providence was happy to accept, and the people who I met today were grateful but obviously not in business for the money-they were there for the same reasons I was. I hope they can use the stuff I took and it will go to those in need or the proceeds from the sale will go towards God’s glory. That’s what it’s all about. Thank you, Ms. Angela...
Read moreI will say these are the nicest, most helpful folks, I have had the pleasure of doing business with. A young lady by the name "Amanda" helped me to determine what my needs were on a particular item ( washer and dryer) and the Store Manager by the name "Angela" was extremely professional and helpful in my needs with the purchase and they were both helpful to get me the assistance in loading my purchase on my truck, by a very nice man by the name "Billy". I would suggest if anyone is in the area in need of any appliances or general merchandise that they pay this place a visit, I will be back and I will tell everyone about my experience here. This is how a business is meant to be run , it is nice to see such a Great person managing Great people. And To Providence ministries you have been Blessed with True Assets to your company. These folks deserve Accolades and highest honors in Customer Service.
