went there few days after opening and it wasn’t a disappointment. They have big portions of food and their food is completely different compared to all the mexican restaurants in town. I remember the days before las Palmas changed their meat and ingredient quality to dumpster tier. I remember when el zarape was the best in town and not infested with roaches. (The owners can’t help it, the location of el zarape just makes it impossible to deal with the roach problem)
