Was at this location on a Tuesday mid morning. Maybe 10 cars in the parking lot.
I was there to get one thing...jeans for our daughter. In my arm I carried our 1 year old, was with our 3 year old, and 6 year old. I followed masking instructions upon entering and even in the department I was headed to.
As we looked for jeans there was not one person in the department. No one in the departments I walked through. The 1 year old was fussing and I'm was trying to figure out the size. I take my mask down to talk to my daughter and try to figure it out and IMMEDIATELY there was an employee telling me to put my mask on. I explain the situation and she said didn't matter and if i didn't want to wear a mask I could leave. She immediately went to "you can leave".
Put my mask on and continued shopping. Same thing occurred a few minutes later as were almost done finding what we needed and she came back with a presumable shift manager/store manager. This time i did leave.
There was no one around me. I was eyed the entire time I shopped to see if I would pull the mask down just one time. And when I did she brought her manager. It had nothing to do with actually being a paying customer in an empty store and them trying to help me get what I needed. This lady's actions were just to prove a point. Her smile when I looked up to see her with the store manager as well as her smile when I decided to take the business elsewhere proves it was about making a point. A political point.
They won't miss the thousands I've spent over years. But I'll push everything I can to our smaller communities who are customer based and actually care about the dollars being spent at...
Read moreThis problem below is an ongoing issue for years. This is the reason why I I have not visited Farm and Fleet at this location for more than a year, unfortunately the Janesville store has the same problem. They do not care about your car and do not complete the job right. I had the same issues at both places. I needed an oil change and tire rotation. According to what I was told the mechanic who worked on my car checked on the air filter, filled up the windshield washer fluid and checked on a list of other things. When I was picking my car up I noticed they didn’t do the tire rotation. I know this from fact; I always mark my tires before tire rotation just to know if the job was done. I opened my car door and saw the passenger seat and the inside of the door was covered with dark oil stains. The windshield washer fluid was not refilled (that was empty). There was oil spill on the top of the engine (I didn’t complain about this to the manager) and the mechanic didn’t check the air filter. The manager Lisa D. was professional, tried to make it right. What I really appreciated she didn’t try to give me false excuses. She gave me a return of the cost of labor and assured me they will pay for cleaning my car. So, the mechanic took my car beck to the shop and filled up my windshield washer fluid and forgot to rotate the tires again. What I got for my money was oil change and some windshield washer fluid and headache instead of the job done right what I paid for. Do a favor for your self DO NOT GET ANY SERVICE DONE ON YOUR CAR at Farm and Fleet of Roscoe! I defiantly DO NOT RECOMMEND THE CAR SHOP of...
