On Tuesday 01/17/23 my son and daughter in law went in and explained to Danielle they needed the rear hub to be sold the wrong part, she sold them the front hub assembly. Later that evening myself and my daughter in law go to return the part and see if they have the right part. We speak to a younger kid who starts the refund process but as we are explaining what exactly we need a customer who knows everyone in there says you can just replace the bearing but I explain that the clamp got damaged so there is nothing to hold the new bearing in place. Another employee says you will need some pliers to be able to pinch it closed. The young kids is irritated and when we were asked who sold us the part earlier in the day we said Danielle to which the younger employee says that's my mom all the while giving attitude, sighing as if we were bothering him even after he looked up to see if we could have the part he says that and O'Reilly in Rockford has it and when I say refund everything and he literally says call add make sure they have so I'm not having to keep doing refunds or and stuff. I was shocked at the how irritated and rude he was being! I will never go back yo this O'Reilly. I will make the drive into Rockford even tho rockton is closer!! Read moreThis store is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. My husband ordered a part online, and the email came through almost immediately that the order was ready. I went to pick the part up the next afternoon, and nobody could find it. I waited for 20 minutes or so, and was told that the inventory crew must have moved it, and they were going to order another one that would be there first thing the next morning. I verified that my dad would be able to pick it up, as he was on the list of alternate pickup people, and I was told that all he would need is my husband's phone number. My dad went to get the part the next day, and they refused to give it to him, despite the fact that he was on the pickup list and I was told he could pick it up. When my husband called to try to rectify the situation, the girl who answered the phone was extremely rude and did nothing to help with the issue. I did call back and they did wind up delivering the part, and the guy that answered the phone was helpful, but this was an entire ordeal that should not have happened. My husband and our daughter's boyfriend started looking under the hood for the leak. Just underneath the engine beauty cover they found a split in the upper radiator hose. Auto Zone did not have any in stock, but O'Reilly's did. They didn't just match Auto Zones price, they beat it. The staff was helpful and fast. My husband and our daughters boyfriend replaced the hose, filled it with nearly 2 gallons of pre-mix GM antifreeze from O'Reilly's and let the air bubble off before capping the radiator.
