Every time I take my 7-yo to an antiques store I give him “the talk” about being careful to look with our eyes and not our hands, and that these items are not replaceable like the ones from big box stores, and I still go in with a little apprehension because...it’s a 7-yo in an antiques store. The owner helped my son find a manual typewriter, and she also showed him several other cool items and told him what they were designed for and showed him how to use them. She was absolutely patient and lovely and I so appreciate it! We found lots of great treasures and will be...
