Make no mistake, I was apprehensive when I pulled up to this establishment, due to it looking as if it was a large pole barn and it's off the main road location. However, I decided to take a gamble. When I walked in I was greeted by a lovely waitress who allowed me to sit where I felt comfortable. After looking over the menu, I noticed that they didn't completely accommodate my dietary restrictions (as I am plant based) however they had vegetarian options. After being introduced to the general manager Mark,I explained to him that I was vegan. Mark said he would be able to make me a vegan dinner out of their already delicious philly portobello stuffed mushroom dish that was on their menu. I asked if had had hummus, this man actually went back into the kitchen and found the ingredients to make it and came out and told me he could. I will tell you this restaurant made the best hummus and Portobello mushroom kabobs that had green peppers and onions drizzled with olive oil. I am a girl that appreciates customer service and this restaurant blue my expectations out of the water. I recommend anyone to frequent this establishment it is worth it just for the staff. Not to mention the food is fantastic with reasonable prices. This place is top notch you will not regret the decision to go. Thank you Fox Den for such an enjoyable experience and treating me with great service and respect. I...
Read moreI've been wanting to visit this place for a long time. The Ribeye I ordered medium and it was cooked perfectly as were the shrimp on top. The prime rib that was raved about really was mediocre though. I'm still drooling over the French onion soup. That would be amazing over the prime rib.
The staff was really great, there was a new guy who did a good job and an experienced gal, she was holding it all down while also guiding him. She should be commended for being so great!
Upon entering I felt awkward because it was a banquet hall with minimal decor and despite many other diners it was dead silent, eventually there was some quiet music that played.
Suggestion for the dining area, To hide the stuff at the back of the room, build some wooden dividers that are on casters so they're mobile for events. Get whisky barrell flower planters, also on casters, 10ft 4x4s and cement them in and put them around the room and hang Edison lights across the room. Both of these examples are on Pinterest and would make a much more intimate experience in such a cold...
Read moreAfter reading reviews we decided to try the prime rib. Waited for a bit to get a table the girl was hustling to clean one but didnt want the high top so we got sat down in other waitress section. She was extremely slow. We ordered prime asked for it to be put on flame broiler cooked medium. She placed our order. 10 min i got my salad. That was good it took 20 min. For husband to get his soup than 2 minutes later the prime comes out cold. The waitress had nerve to ask me how we asked for it cooked. I said medium and flamebroiled. Oh she forgot. Back goes meat. Comes out warm but tough as leather. Couldnt get any drink refills. Took all meat home and made stew today to tenderized it. I would not recommend this place at all. I will never go back. Pictures on internet are not what you get. Oh i have to mention the pathetic 2 pieces of bread served with oil?? Gross. The bread was 1/2 thick and smaller than a baseball! 2 pieces was all we got. I took a picture but cant...
