Had my children's party here about a month ago I wasn't going to leave a review but its been bothering me because I think parents should be warned of the hazards that lie within the play structures. I ended up having 2 children hurt and had to call 911 for my own child who shocked his spine from hitting his head on the pole so hard he lost his breath and was complaining of back and neck pain. He wasnt able to move when it intially happened which was EXTREMELY scary. There is no warning sign that the ceilings are extremely low and when kids are running full speed and don't notice them it can be quite dangerous. I'm sure we are not the only ones that this has happened to considering 2 kids from my party alone had it happen to them. It's great for younger kids I'd say maybe 6 or younger but not older kids meaning any child over 7 or 8. It was an extremely horrible experience for my son who was celebrating his birthday. The staff was not all that helpful during the incident either, we had to call 911 because they wouldn't. They also didn't write out an incident report which I thought a bit concerning. Aside from that there were a few areas in the play structure off to the side that has pieces that were loose and needed to be bolted down, the employee working the front desk kept having to come in and readjust the floor boards because they kept popping out of place which could be dangerous. Also half the air guns were down and for the amount of money I paid to have this party which was over $600.00 I would expect everything to be up and running properly. We normally go to Rancho but we wanted to change it up and regret it. We are done with Wacky Tacky and will not be returning. None of our guests will be returning either. Not a...
Read moreGame place/party venue for kids of all ages! I attended a party for an 8 year old. As we arrived, friendly and helpful young staff greeted us, and gathered all the birthday gifts on a labelled cart. There is a shoes off rule for the play areas, and there was another cart for the shoes for all the kids in the group.
We started with time in a smaller side room, with a slide, a ball pit, climbing tunnels, and more. After about an hour we moved on to the main play area, which featured a game area that really engaged the older kids...an arena featuring plastic guns that shot balls! There were also more climbing things, and tunnels etc.
Then we went to the party room, which was well decorated with a jungle theme and a blow up throne! Too classy!
Two young staff members helped get the pizza and cake served expeditiously and with good humor. They were very helpful getting the leftovers and the presents out to the car.
All in all, I thought this was a great place for kids to play. The equipment was well-padded and clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the bathroom was well maintained.
I can't speak to the costs, since I was a guest. But I would definitely throw a child's birthday...
Read moreWish I could give NO stars. This place was TERRIBLE and a HUGE WASTE OF MONEY. We paid for a party of 25, so that should tell you how much we spent.
This was our first time at the place and our last. Our original party date was cancelled for "sanitation". So, we had to shift for that.
They spelt my kids names wrong on the sign. We brought it up and they said, they had no access to the computer to print a new one.
One staff member said my group could go play in one room, then another staff member tells them to get out.
The concept of personal space is lost on the staff here. They push their way in-between people and expect you to move.
They made us pay an "application fee" for some reason . We never filled out an application.
They made us pay for decorations but wouldn't let us take the decorations home. They said that they reuse them for each party . Not very sanitary if you ask me. Why make us pay for decorations if we can't keep them? A staff member told me that they credit that back?
On top of all that, they claim to have closed for sanitation? Why does this place still smell like one of my Dad's sweaty work boots?
Definitely not worth the money. Save yourself the trouble and go...
