Cool Tea Bar Roseville — Restaurant in Roseville

I'm not in this area often, so I just realized they were open today as we were driving past. I had to return to the area a few hours later, so we decided to try it out. The 50c upgrade to a large is so worth it! The size difference is significant!! I usually try to drink boba slowly to make it last longer... but tonight I actually felt satisfied and saved some in the fridge to finish later. We splurged and got the popcorn chicken. At first, I wasn't sure about it because it's not as crispy as I'm used to, but when I tried it, I was impressed! It's incredibly juicy and extremely well seasoned and flavorful. the price is okay for how big the large is, the tapioca has a great texture and the people were friendly! but the milk tea itself is a huge let down TASTES FULL OF SYRUP and the taro tasted like cardboard (the one on the left pictured is taro and the right is strawberry) there was also no pigment in the drink itself. the strawberry boba left a disgusting taste in my mouth like it had been coated in syrup i’m overall rlly disappointed because my partner and i have beeeen searching everywhere for taro and we thought we finally...

So happy to have a local CTB in the Roseville area! We don’t have to drive to South Sac or the Bay Area anymore to get a fix. This place used to be a former Lollicup, but we’re happy and excited for the new owners. Their service is great, friendly, and thus far the quality of the drinks are up to par and comparable like the other CTB’s.

Our favorites go to’s are 1) Roasted Grass Jelly MT and 2) Mango Green Tea.
