Albertsons Market Pharmacy — Local services in Roswell

This Pharmacy used to be quite good. I've been going here for about 8 years. The last 2 years it has just gotten worse and worse. It's true.....always an hour or more wait in line. Scripts are never ready for hours and they don't have them in stock ever. They do not have good doctor patient communication......they don't do what they should they always expect you to call around other pharmacies and doctors when that's their job. They do not answer questions.....and are rude when you ask any. And it's always 3 or more hours for your script to be ready if they do have it in stock.....and this last time I had to go 5 days without my meds cause it took them from 9am 2 visits to pharmacy and 3 phone calls to tell me at 4:50pm on a Friday that my meds were on backorder even though my script sat there scheduled to be filled for a Month. And of course what can you do on a Friday Night about that? Nothing..... After this last script I have to fill here unfortunately.....I have switched to Sam's Pharmacy. Sams and Farmers Uptown Pharmacy is the best and they communicate with Patient and Doctor and other Pharmacies to make sure you are okay and have what you need when you need it, and do...

I was contacted 5 days ago on 4/3 by this pharmacy however was not left any voicemail regarding why they were calling at all. I assumed it had to be about some type of medication so I contacted my physician if I should still be taking something that they have me on, and got it confirmed on 4/8 to continue to take it. I immediately go to the pharmacy, and after waiting in the ridiculously long line, I get told I have nothing ready and that the script I was needing was likely put back after holding it for so long. I inform the tech that I was only contacted 5 days ago and was not even left a voicemail so how was I supposed to know? The tech then says they’ll have it ready in an hour. I say fine and go home. I drive all the way home only to be notified that my script is ready after just being told to wait an hour! The improper and also lack of communication and not being given accurate information is...

Got told very rudely that my medication wasn't approved because they hadn't got a call from the doctor yet. The doctor office called me earlier saying everything was good and to go get my medication. So who is lying here or just not doing their job. I was told by the rude lady to wait 30 minutes but I don't need to stay waiting like an idiot just to be treated badly. Tried calling the doctor but they already went home so now I have to wait all weekend for my medication. I usually have good experiences here but every time I see this certain girl I know I'm going to have problems. I don't want a fake apology or to be told to call someone who doesn't care. I don't think any pharmacy in this town is any good as I have had bad experiences at almost all of them. It's very frustrating when you literally need your medication or you might die and people are rude...
