Disclaimer: I’m from south Texas and have lots of family that resides in Mexico so I feel I’m tough when it comes to reviewing Mex dishes.
Our first time. We were told to come here to try good food! We ordered 4 tacos (sold individually) 2 of buche and 2 tripas (crispy). The torta combined with buche/asada/tripas. Additionally, nuez agua Fresca (walnut).
The food was good. It just lacked seasoning. My husband and I agreed to that statement. If the meats & salsa had great seasoning, it would take this over the top! That is the only reason why we are removing one star.
The agua Fresca is VERY sweet. We prefer less sugary drinks. It’s just preference but was full of flavor!

Read more2nd chance... I ordered CARNE asada fries but instead got fries with nacho cheese and almost NO CARNE ASADA... FAKE GUACAMOLE..SMH. I'M NEVER COMING BACK. (I added a picture of what Carne Asada fries should look like.)
I ask for rolled tacos and they gave me a "Build it yourself kit"..... Really?! It was a box with 4 plain rolled tacos with all the ingredients on the side. Lettuce, tomatoe,, onion on one side. Sour cream and fake guacamole in two little containers. I was the only customer and it took almost 30min for my order to be ready. I will definitely never come back to this place. Read moreThis is the only food truck we visit in town because the food and service is fantastic. We always get the carne asada and al pastor tacos and the carne asada fries with red and green salsa and a couple of Fresca’s but all their food is delicious and most importantly their salsa is spicy. Don’t believe the bad reviews. If the wait is long it’s obviously because the food is great and if you think the service sucks that’s probably a you problem. I’ve never experienced rude service in the many years I’ve been a customer. I always call my orders in to avoid the long wait....
