The staff is super nice. Thatâs about as far as I can complement this course. I have played 50+ rounds here. I have seen carts in the bunkers. 25 handicap hacks waiting for the green to clear on a par 5 so they can advance the ball 30 yards. Lines of 4 groups backed up waiting to tee off on 10. Groups of 5 being waved on to 10 while our twosome is walking off the green on 9. Tee times are rarely, (if ever) adhered to. Pace of play is PAINFULLY slow. Greens are even slower, and covered in fungus and scarred from aeration.
All that said, this place has TONS of potential. Itâs a neat track, but There has to be some space between tee times, and a Marshall. A course super who actually knows how to maintain and groom grass wouldnât hurt. Itâs a great place to learn the game and have a beer with your...
Read moreThe course itself is a very good course, well maintained. I play it sometimes when I visit relatives in Roswell, which is normally two-three times a year.
In recent years, the issue with this course has unfortunately been the "good ole boy" mickey mouse that goes on there. I have been held up by fivesomes and sixsomes on this course, and there is zero enforcement by golf course staff to require such groups to allow faster groups to play through. So, if you can deal with getting caught behind 5 or 6 locals and spending twice as much of your life on a golf course than is necessary, go right ahead. I find the NMMI course staff and those who play there much more courteous/considerate and most often...
Read moreBeginner On this lovely course, understanding that it's the hardest course as well. But I enjoy. the area. The people are great and have an awesome time. Every time I go getting my family involved. And friends and the company I work for do lots of tournaments with them. I Will always recommend this course. And I have played the other courses already being new to this game. I'm still learning, but I'm enjoying it. And want to succeed in the...
