Sandi's Moonwalks — Local services in Round Rock

Update: in July 2021 we ordered another wet bounce house. The timing and confirmation that it would be WET happened, as it should, 24-48 hours ahead of time. We scheduled the setup between 7-9am, party starting at 10. The moonwalk didn’t show up until 11am and it wasn’t loaded with the attachment to be used with water- so kids would be going down a water slide onto hard ground, no pool to catch them and soften the landing. This was a $500-700 rental (I don’t remember specifically)- a significant amount of money because 2020 had canceled our children’s birthday parties. My husband had to calm the contracted drivers into not quitting and then assuage their manager into not firing them because they just drive the truck and set it up. The story we got is that there is a main hub/center where these moonwalks are all leased out to the different companies around town and the client just picks a company to use. After missing an hour of the party, and bringing an incomplete moonwalk, our compensation was only $100 back. We will not be using this company again and we will tell anyone interested in renting one (friends, family, school fundraisers, etc) not to use this company. So sad that the review from just a few years back doesn’t continue to hold up.

Once upon a time (2019): The experience of renting a moonwalk from Sandi's was top-notch! There was an email sent to us almost a week before our event with a few guidelines and recommendations for a smooth drop off & set up, then a follow up text the day prior to the event giving us a drop-off window. They showed up with plenty of time before our party, set up a CLEAN moonwalk and picked up well after it was over! ...plus, the kids couldn't get enough of the bouncy house/water slide combo! Smiles...

Our latest experience was an absolute disaster. The lack of communication by Sandi's was disappointing. Yes, we received text updates with day and time delivery, however the delivery still did not come - even though the texts with inaccurate information kept coming! We'd call to ask for updates and they'd give us generic answers, such as: "within 30 minutes" (we got that response for over an hour).. ultimately, they delivered the table and chairs AFTER the party started. Talk about embarrassing! Their managers response was to offer 15% off a future order, which I don't understand. You delivered the party essentials DURING my party, so embarrassing to have guests arrive without the party able to take place, and you think I want to rent with you again? ...but they were quick to pick everything up! An hour after the party (again not matching with the texted time) they took everything back, we had it for less than the rented 8 hours - but this isn't surprising based on our experience.

If you like additional stress, unreliable information, being utterly embarrassed as people arrive to your house, and getting zero compensation for it - then Sandis is a great...

We rented the "Hulk Bump" waterslide for my sons 4th birthday.

They called a few days before delivery to secure final payment and discuss payment options, to include a friendly reminder that if we wanted to pay the rest in cash to be sure that we have the exact amount due to the drivers not having change. They also called closer to the drop off day to inform me of the approximate time of arrival and that I would not be charged for the early drop off or later pickup of the waterslide rental.

They delivered and secured the waterslide the day before our scheduled order time and date. They even made sure the water hose and power source were up to par and worked properly before departing to their next delivery.

The kids, and adults, had a GREAT TIME!

It was easy to deflate and have ready for when the Sandi's Moonwalk crew showed up the following day to take it away. They were again, friendly and professional when they arrived to our house to retrieve the waterslide.
