7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Round Rock

We went for the first time today. I joined a 7 brews group on Facebook and had seen multiple posts about iced pumpkin chai drinks and they looked delicious since I love chai and pumpkin. The person helping us either wasn't knowledgeable on drinks or didn't really want to help. She told me they couldn't do chai with pumpkin and suggested me ordering two separate drinks. Weird. I even asked in a Facebook group with avid 7 brews fans and they were like "yes they can make a pumpkin chai drink". I got almond milk and my drink was bad. It tasted bitter and didn't look like it had a cold foam or any almond milk in it. The girl told me it looked dark because of the milk alternative. Wrong. I've used almond milk for years and my drinks still look "milky". I also added the pumpkin drizzle but didn't see it at all. I didnt even drink the drink I got and it went in the trash. Staff did not seem helpful here and just a suggestion- if someone hasn't visited your establishment and expresses that to staff then maybe staff should kinda give you the run down of the menu. As someone who willingly drives 20+ minutes multiple times a week to get my weekly fix of either a soda or energy from here, it’s safe to say that I love the drinks here.

Despite the quality of the drink, the service is never consistent. Some days I’ll get the sweetest baristas who always make genuine conversations, but most of the time those who run the drive thru have the worst attitude. Today I was waiting in the second lane with no one in front of me, and 3 girls are just standing around with ipads not even acknowledging me or coming to ask if I’m ready to order. Earlier this week, when I asked if they were still doing the Dell Children’s Deal, the barista looked at me like I was crazy and acted like I wanted some sort of discount.

I recently had the most fantastic experience at 7 Brew, and I absolutely had to share it! This place is a game-changer, especially for matcha lovers like me. Their matcha is simply amazing – it's so smooth, vibrant, and perfectly balanced, seriously blowing Dutch Bros' matcha out of the water! There's no comparison, 7 Brew takes the crown.
