Winegar's Roy Market — Local services in Roy

I love Winegar's market. I found the store shortly after moving to the Ogden/Roy area and I almost exclusively buy all my produce and meats from here.

If you don't mind buying generic brand for most of your groceries they may be closely priced with Walmart. They sale Food Club and Western Family brands that are both cheaper than the name brand. They also seem to have great sales on their meat every week, which can save you a lot of money. A couple weeks ago they had 93/7 ground beef on sale for $2.99 and everywhere else had the same for $4.99. I honestly think their ground beef tastes better than you can get at other stores as well.

They don't have any self checkout stands, which is fine with me. Their cashiers are mostly high school kids, but they're always friendly and greet you...

Absolutely love the Bakery here.. always fresh baked items at great prices. Local grocery store with friendly familiar employees that gives a great shopping experience without the hassle of trying to shop the overcrowded Big Chain Stores. They have everything I need and are always stocked throughout the day without half empty shelves. The checkout is fast and they have excellent customer service. Seasonal section is always done well and they have added isles with most the items you would visit the dollar store for. My average trip is within a few dollars of shopping anywhere else which is Well Worth avoiding the unpleasant shopping experience I find at some...

Just wanted to give a shoutout to the bakery!! I called the day before in a panic to find someone to do some quick gender reveal cupcakes I needed for the next day. The lady I talked to on the phone was SO nice and accommodating. I told her I didn’t need anything fancy, just some white cupcakes with maybe some blue and pink sprinkles on top, filled with the gender color. I went to pick them up the next day, and they decorated them SO cute, with little toppers on them. They also were so careful about not revealing the gender of the baby anywhere on the order form, and the color inside was done so well and discrete. Thank you SO much!!!...
