I truly love this book store. It is so beautiful and everything is so beautifully placed with a huge inventory. The owners are two of the nicest people one could ever know and their young son is so helpful and very smart and they were really accepting to carry my first published novel there, along with it's listing on Amazon, only theirs carry my autograph. The novel is titled "The Reckoning of Rance." It is a difficult time for writers and signings with covid, but they graciously welcomed me in and I so appreciate these people. I really enjoyed our conversation while there. Everyone should partake in a visit to this store while in Ruidoso. If you are a reader, then this is the place to go. I truly believe it has a wider selection and variety of books than most any library that I have visited. While there check out the quaint hobbit style tree, that lives its courtyard, with the time past lamppost grown into its side. A great photo opportunity. Such a mystical classy book shop. Amazing place full of rare unexpected finds in print tucked in every nook and cranny, plus original unique works of art with spiritual significance by Sumi-got a beautiful dream web that seems made for me with my owl totem. Kevin and Sumi created this book store with its original name from a desire to save and safeguard books, specifically the knowledge and stories therein. I loved my visit! I could have spent all day and still not seen all there is to see. A magical store with well curated categories of used books and Sumi’s handcrafted, upcycled art in practical, fun forms. I got all kinds of incense burners, original paintings, decor items, exotic dream catcher, Buddha hand bag ... and wanted even more. Some things are less than $10 perfect for souvenirs. Cool quirky themes, stunning handmade jewelry. Kinda steampunk, kinda goth. 100% novel!!
