Everything was working well until I upgraded from 100MBPS TO 300MBPS. I’m over it and I’m sick and tired of wasting my time on the phone with support. Is there something we can do to address this issue as a whole? I know I can’t be the only one with issues. They charged me for an extra router that I did not have for over a year and per their policies they could only reimburse me via account credit for 6 months of it. talked to multiple supervisors and representatives and that's all they would do. Julia Funk We are having the same problems. Ours has gone out at the minimum of a dozen times today. This week has been the absolute worst. They are blaming our walls. Same walls we’ve had since the house has been built and had internet 🤷♀️🤦♀️ Justin Huffmon Julia Funk I had to switch to their wireless router bc they said theirs was better. I bought an Apple wireless router that I’ve used for years. It’s capable of up to 1GB download and upload speeds. It’s the best. And I have to use their modems which have poor signal strength in my home. And this week has been terrible. Totally pathetic service. Give me a reliable product. That’s all I ask for. Dan Sherrell Overall I agree about TDS customer support being the worst ever! On the flip side, they definitely have the best internet service available up on this mountain. Read moreExcellent experience with TDS repair on 10-25-2023. Called in because their cable that crosses our driveway was sagging low enough to snag the AC on an RV coming in. I felt listened to and understood when the woman at the repair 800# responded empathically with "well that's frustrating!" She was able to schedule us same day service, within 4 hours from my call. She said I'd get a text and a call from the tech when he was on his way. I got both. The text included the tech's name (Brian) AND picture, also his gps location. He called as well. He arrived in a timely manner, assessed the situation and requested a supervisor join him to determine if the cable could be tightened sufficiently or if another pole would need to be installed. Brian's supervisor got here quickly and they decided the cable could be tightened sufficiently to solve the problem, which they took care of then and there. Read moreI don't get all the negative reviews. I have had their service for 9 months now. I did have TV service with them but dropped it in place of DirecTV Now. This does require a steady, decent internet service to stream, and haven't had any problems with TDS internet streaming TV, or slow PC. Internet does drop out at times, but not a daily issue, and always comes back in a minute or two. Windstream did the same, and was horrible with customer service at more than double the price. Baha wasn't much better, was happy to see them taken over by TDS. Keep in mind, TDS is new to this area (Ruidoso), and basically new to the ISP market compared to the big boys, like Comcast. I guarantee that internet prices are going to at least double soon, now would be the time to lock in a price for as long as possible. And NO, I don't work for TDS.
