St. Charles’ Gem of a Gym

I recently moved to St. Charles from Springfield and was looking for a gym, preferably close to where I live. My son recommended Main Street gym at 334 N Main Street. I could not thank him enough. This place is great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a great variety of quality intuitive equipment. I seldom have have to wait for something to become available which is not a big deal as I just workout on a routine further down my list. I also appreciate the clientele at this gym as they aren’t the type who walk around with overly developed egos and attitudes.

The staff at Mov on Main is fantastic. They aren't just a one size fits all workout for their members. They take the time to evaluate your abilities (and weaknesses) and work out a routine based on that. Each week adds a little more of a push. (Thanks Brian) They have a nutrition individual who takes the time to explain not only what is the best for you food-wise but also WHY!! It isn't just "because I said so". (Thanks Nate) Then there is the membership contact. You don't get a full court press. They listen to what you are wanting to do and explain the parts of the gym that will help you reach your goals. This gym is a special place. I have been going here for about 6 years and it has turned into a second home for me. Main Street Gym cares about their guests. The staff is amazing and is ready to do whatever it takes to help anyone achieve their goals. It is so easy for me to go to Main Street Gym when I need an escape from reality and focus on my fitness goals and see some familiar and friendly faces.
