Lovely gravel trail to run, bike and walk on. A converted railway to railway, it follows along the Missouri River. Loved being able to hop on right from Main Street in St. Charles. Many greenways along the trail and some public use restrooms. Enjoyed hearing the birds singing during my morning runs. Dogs welcome on leash. Lots of action in later mornings. I felt safe running along the trail alone.

Many greenways along the trail and some public use restrooms. Enjoyed hearing the birds singing during my morning runs. Dogs welcome on leash. Lots of action in later mornings. I felt safe running along the trail alone.

My experience on the Katy Trail in Saint Charles was absolutely fantastic! The trail offers breathtaking views of the Missouri River and the surrounding countryside. Legit my favorite area to sit and draw under the pavilion and look out into the water. They also have a massive hiking ground it's close to bathrooms historical areas and food...
